Ohio anyone ??

Does anyone know of a good place to ride around the Columbus Ohio area ? Cuz i'm not having any luck finding roads that have more than two or three turns in them.....please help

I've heard the Hocking Hills area is pretty nice. I know it's about 3 hours from Dayton but not sure where that is from Columbus or Toledo. :thumbup:

we have gone out to RT 203 or RT 204 I can't remember which one it is. Its the one that runs through delaware. Also if you want some nice right hand turns, take the rt 33 / I 270 clover leaf a few times. its the one by dublin. We usually get a group of us together and ride. PM me if you want to go sometime. We may be riding tonight as well.

i am in Middletown ( between cincinnati and dayton) and i have plenty of great places to ride. mostly in the west side of butler and hamilton county and indiana. prebble county can be pretty nice sometimes too. hocking hills is nice and worth the ride, but not for hitting turns real hard. there is too much gravel and debris in the road. too many harley guys going 7 mph around the corners too.

I'd like to see these. yeah come on down man, we do have a lotta good roads, but no one to ride with... :(

It's a bit of ride to get there, but just east of I-77 at the West Virginia border is Hwy 26. It runs from Marietta up through the Wayne National Forest and has some great twisties, hairpins and off camber turns with not too much traffic. I went there last summer to ride and it was a blast. There are some state campgrounds nearby if you want to stay overnight. I'm in Michigan so I know what you mean about the straight-ass roads. Just came back from Deals Gap in TN / NC a couple weeks ago. They have some fantastic roads down there, curves everywhere.

Cincinnati here!!! there are some decent roads around, but I won't lie after going to the gap nothing around here has peaked my interest in a while lol...definately have to get together sometime soon

you guys interested in getting together for a charity ride that meets at that baseball stadium in florence. it finishes up taking 3 laps around the speedway. its on sep 30.

30th is next sat. i think i'd be down. what charity and where's the ride goin? thx i believe it is the march for dimes. it ends at the speedway with a bunch of vendors and food and free t-shirts and stuff like that. i go on a bunch of these with my dad and his VTX and goldwing friends it gets oring without other sportbike friends. last one i went on was in richmond IN and we wnet down the airstrip at the airport and we got to open our bikes up for 2miles . there were a few 1000+ guys who hit over 200. i only had my bike for about a month and i wansnt that daring yet. let meknow if you would be down and we can meet up somewhere and cruise down to the event. I like meeting at bob evans or frischs and et first.

I went to NKU, woulda graduated last year, dropped it to go to MMI this coming Jan... Now I pretty much just work my ass off...Do you go to either of them?

We ride KY-10,22,18 alot... and then hit up the west side of cincy up around Ross and Hamilton...Been kinda boring lately, ever since going to the gap my one friends won't ride on any roads around here, says its just not the same anymore... what about yourself? where do you spend most of your time...... I was obviously a TKE at NKU, do you/have you ever ridden with any of them (3 or 4 of them have bikes I do believe)

High. he rented from the cell phone guys who own that building. very nice apartment for dirt cheap. anyways, let mek now if your going to be in the area of the airport or anything and we can meet up.

dunno what happend to carguy this weekend for the ride.. anyway fellas we need to plan somethin for next weekend or somethin..

sorry, tried to fit 10 pounds worth of shit in a five pound bag this weekend. I'm gonna try to fit somethin in nex weekend, weather permitting.

i say we can all meet up at Competition accessories and ride around down by yellow springs and down that way. springfield is in the middle.....kind of.

Lots of turns and elevation changes. Columbus is so flat.
