Biketoberfest

Hey is anyone going to this? Im coming from Pennsylvania with a few friends for this...is it going to be worth my while or should i just bag the trip?

Biketoberfest has been hit or miss the past few years. On average it is not nearly as good as Bike Week but last year it a bit better. You should still have a good time either way.

Well hopefully its a hit this time. We are making the trip for more than just that but would really want this to turn into an annual event for us.

We talked about it this weekend a lil bit...starting to pull our plans together. I think we will be there for the whole weekend....can't wait...

Murtle beach is in May, unless there is more than one bike week there, i thought it was only once a year ok just checked. there is a fall rally going on but its more for the cruiser types. not really for us. guess ill be doing the usual that weekend:headshake

sunny florida the beach, beer, bikes and hot ass chicks, how could you not have a good time. wouldn't miss it.

I prefer Biketoberfest over Bikeweek because you can actually ride the bike around Daytona without having to stop a million times because of all the traffic. The only thing that Bikeweek has over Biketoberfest is the Daytona 200. Have fun!!

They do this year. It is called the Moto ST. It is a 8 hour race that starts at 1 and goes till 9. There is a 100k in prizes and very strict rules for the bikes. Three riders per team and there is night riding. I have several friends racing in it and proably would myself if I was going to be in town that weekend. I believe it is after the Race Of Champions on Sat Oct 28th.

a1a daytona beach..... Just daytona its self is fun, but biketoberfest will be a blast!

I cant wait we leave for tampa in a week saturday the 14th....

I will be there. Our team is entered in a few events and with the 8 hr endurance race, it should be a pretty good biketoberfest. Weather is starting to get real nice now too.

Haven't heard that, but there is a 2nd annual bike event in Sanford and Stuntwars in Lakeland that are both happeneing this weekend. If it's nice, I'd rather be getting some riding in instead of standing around looking at other peoples bikes and other people ridin'.
