I gotta say, however, that I wouldn't do it without wearing gear.
but, looking good still. jd519 09-05-2006, 10:11 PM thanks for the compliments guy, and yes, i should have had my jacket on. motorhead 09-05-2006, 10:14 PM Very nice- but I agree you should always wear your gear. Even tho I don't always do it but I at least try my best to wear it if I'm gonna do a wheelie and most definately if I go stunting. Happens to the best of us... I do standups for miles and have been stunting for years- nothing hard core but can do good wheelies and stoppies. I came down from a wheelie last year on some gravel and it was NOT good. Bike went underneath me but luckily I was wearing my gear and didn't hit anything while I slid on my ass. Didn't look too cool huh LOL:laughingr Ah well lesson learned K-rash 09-05-2006, 10:54 PM gear nazi's what do they know.... hmm.. but thats a nice lookin bike.. road one just like it but had polished wheels with red centers... wheelies like a champ i tell ya RI-Gixxer 09-06-2006, 04:33 AM nice wheelies, wish I can do that, I'm scared as shit to try. were the hell have you been guy? smc15223 09-06-2006, 07:58 AM Looks great man. 02Telefonica 09-06-2006, 09:23 AM hdgixer,
Most of the "gear nazi's" are that way for a reason, usually because of an incident they have been involved in where they weren't wearing gear and got fucked up, or were in one where the gear they had on saved their damn life.. so saying "what do they know" doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. I don't try to tell anyone what to do gear-wise, but when it comes to me, you bet your ass I'll be wearing my shit after going down and my leathers saving me from a whole lot of rash, and my bro going down and hyper-extending and shattering his ankle cuz he wasn't wearing his boots Nate600racing 09-06-2006, 10:35 AM Nice job dude lookin good. Getup600 09-07-2006, 02:24 PM Dang I wish I could get up like that Im still messin with the air up there CNY750Rider 09-07-2006, 02:37 PM nice pics man. Looks like your ready to graduate to the rear peg...it's 100% more comfortable which means - you won't get fatigued as fast and be able to go longer. Try it but be safe about it & cover that rear...
Actually? Do you ride the rear...if so you can bring back alittle farther to slow em down.
Nice pics and thanks for sharing. jd519 09-07-2006, 05:05 PM thanks for the info. i actually tried the rear peg today for a little. i just have to learn not to put so much weight on that side. i can do them pretty good on the front pegs but i want to find the bp. i'll try the rear again tonight when we all go riding. | |
