Later SATURDAY EVENING DRIVE - 9/6/2006 Texas Motor Speedway fans have a unique opportunity to drive their personal vehicles on the 1.5-mile superspeedway this Saturday night. It is the annual Laps For Charity, benefiting Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC). From 5-10 p.m. fans take three laps around “The Great American Speedway!” for just a $25 donation to SCC and get their picture taken in Victory Lane for just $10. No advance registration is required. Enter through the South Tunnel at the speedway. Drivers must be 21 years of age or older and all other passengers must be 6 years of age or older.
