Quit bashing Kawasaki. I own a GSXR 750. I have also owned Kawis and Honda's. I hope to have a garage full of all makes of bikes. If manufacturer is the primary determinant of racing success, how do you explain Rossi? Or Eric Bostrom for that matter (remember he ran a 800 cc Kawi against liter bikes and had podium finishes). I thought Harley riders were the motorcycle bigots. If he is good he will find a way to win no matter what.

Hello everyone. This is my first post on the forum. Spies, Mat now Roger? Guess who's going to win next year AMA superbike? Is roger going to change class? If not, you're thinking of his brother and he is still riding honda for now. In case you don't know, there is Roger, Tommy and Nicky Hayden. They all race and two race in the same class on Kawas, or did. The other race in the same class with Spies and Mat.

He has a 1st place on a Kaw. I'm glad you pointed that out. I was thinking that maybe he should check out the AMA's stats for the past few seasons. Kawi has been pretty competitive, especially if you take into account the number of bikes they run in the series. If you want to look further - go to MotoGP. Kawi raced two bikes in 2005 and one of them was tenth in points at seasons' end. (Just my 2 cents) Darren

well I love bikes and I hate to see peeps dis Kaws. Plus if there are 25 bikes on a track and 15 are Suzies, well they have a better chance of beening a winner with them odds.

But why do you think that 15 of them are Suzuks? Not because they are the worst bike out. :thumbup: Oh and to you guys who say tommy has a chance at the #1 plate now that he's on a kawi, He won't beat Spies or Mladdin. I think there's a lot cause they are cheap. You see more fords on the road than Benzes. Not because ford is the shit, but cause it is affordable.

I like the "love all bikes" attitude, but to insinuate Suzukis as being "cheap" is a bit stretching. When it comes to racing, "cheap" only goes so far. Just about any one (let it be pros/privateers) would want to get their hands on the most competitive machines available. Unless you have full support from the manufacturer, inferior equipment will show it's flaws, and most wouldn't want to invest time & money contesting. Last I checked, Suzukis aren't that much cheaper than Yamahas. Not even close to the percentage difference between Ford and Mercedes. My first bike was a GPZ 550, so no Kawi hating here.
