Max Biaggi has today signed an agreement in Alleur, Belgium with Alstare Corona Extra team manager Francis Batta to ride a GSX-R1000 Suzuki in next year’s World Superbike Championship.
Biaggi is said to be more motivated and fitter than ever and has already asked to test his new Suzuki GSX-R1000 K7 as soon as possible.
"Today is a good day,” he said. “I have always followed the World Superbike Championship and my view is that it is an extremely exciting Championship. I have always admired the riders taking part in the World Superbike Championship and I value the class’s technical level.

lets see how well he does in the WSB? I've always like biaggi and that he goes against the whole Rossi Mania. Don't get me wrong Rossi is still the man and will root for him but since biaggi has always been Rossi's supposed rivial i just root for him to get a good race. Hope he does a superb job for suzuki alstare

I've always like Biaggi. I think the guy is talented, but is too hard on himself and doesn't enjoy the sport like Rossi does. I hope he'll do well - and I believe he will - and put some serious fire in WSB. Now I have more reason not to miss WSB races.
