Pinks in town tonight

Just left one of our local tracks tonight where the show pinks filmed two shows for upcoming airing on speed tv. In the second race a local guy here in va. was racing his s10 pickup against pinks own Nate Pritchett. Our local guy kicked Pritchett's ass 3 to 1 and took Nate's Ride. Nate was racing a Buick Regal that really was a sweet looking ride. Nate was crying his ass off about how they had lied about how fast the truck was and the crowd booed him unmercifully. Rich, the show's host and start man was ticked with the crowd for booing Nate and told Nate if it was bothering him that he would shut the race down. I think he was trying to save Nate's car because he knew he was going to lose but Pritchett said the crowd wasn't bothering him and elected to continue. That was after our guy was up 2 to 1, but when Nate came out for the 3rd race his shit stalled and he couldn't make the call to the line and had to forfeit. I can't wait for it to be televised to really see his reactions. I've seen him be pretty cool but he can be a little prick too. I've often wondered about the show but seeing it live is way better than on tv. The between round negotiations are much longer and heated than what they show on tv. It really was pretty cool. If anyone ever gets a chance to see it live, definitely see it.:thumbup:

The main thing I don't like about that show is how he starts the race. Use lights for petes sake. They are at a strip anyways so keep it standard. He likes the lime light I guess, but this: I make eye contact with the dude on the left, then the dude on the right .. then drop my hands sucks. Use lights ...

well what about when you got a car that gets 4 car links and is in front of the light? guy suppose to look in his rear view or wait for the other guy to pass him?

Dail in? Put your time on the windshield ... I have to admit that I don't watch the show too much cuz the host just rubs me wrong (too much drama for a simple race). But if they are running diff times, just dial in. Thats what all that bla bla they do anyways with that loud mouthed host is anyways, right? Dail in your car and don't go over ... race! I might be missing something ...
