I had a look at this section for the first time on Monday night. Yesterday I smacked into a Ford Estate (Station Wagon) Left a nice big dent in the car Left a small scuff on the front mudguard (Fender) After I had help getting the damn thing off my foot there wasnt another mark on it! (That hadnt been there before anyway) These Gixer 750's are pretty strong stuff!

damn, how fast were you going when you hit the ford? B/c if you were going fast enough, you may want to check your forks and make sure they aren't bent even just a bit, that will affect you handling greatly... :headscrat

I had fairly scrubbed off most speed by the time I made contact. I wasnt going too fast at the time, just had a right plonker in the car leaving me nowhere to go when he decided to block an exit on a roundabout. 'Do you think it was my fault?' 'Ooooh yes!' I had a good look to check the forks and they are OK. Handlings been fine since and I've done a couple of hundred miles this weekend so any problems would have shown themselves. Ta

At least you are alright. One of my good friends hit a truck that pulled out in front of him. He was doing about 40 flew up over the bike and broke his foot and his hip.
