just got done with the 06 santas toy run.WOW awesome. sport bikes, cruisers, step thru harleys. was excellent. took the goldwing in stead of the gixxer tho.would like to meet up some time in edmonton. cheers

I was at the toy run on sunday. There were a few scary Goldwing riders there. One guy freaked me out he couldn't hold the bike straight at 10km/hr. Fun time and good cause! -JG

hey guys i'm from Hinton, a few of my buddies made it to the run this year and they said it was great!! I made it a couple of years ago on a 1100 shadow, i've had an 05 roadking since then and now an 06 gsxr 750! and I love it!! I am excited to take it to stratotech next year, have any of you guys gone to the track days? or racing? (sorry to highjack the thread) ttyl

(sorry to highjack the thread) ttyl Hi, I'm here in St. Albert.....I too have the 06 750, and ya, best bike EVER, in my opinion anyway.....I was thinking of doing a few track days this coming year.....is it true that now for track days you don't have to take off your mirrors, just have to fold them in? I'm hoping cause I really don't want to be screwing around with disconnecting wires.

As far as I know you still have to take the mirrors off. If they let you you are going to have to tape the shit of of them. If you go to the webpage (http://www.stratotech.ca/) you can see the requirements for trackdays. There is a Race school at the Stratotech in May. I think there is only a limited number of people that can sign up so I'm constantly checking out the page to make sure that I get in. -JG
