NESBA - Anybody do any trackdays with themfassina4 02-28-2005, 12:45 PM Anybody going to the March 25th-26th Trackday at Barber. I finally signed up for my first trackday! bambam454 02-28-2005, 01:40 PM great .. there are some good guys that ride and control ride with nesba. I however do not. ( insert long story, disagreement with owner/ mgt. ) have a ball and be sure to ask the control riders for help. look for brett or troy they are both really good guys. also try to hook up with a C/R for more than 1 session at a time so that they can be better able to help you consistantly throughout the day. ... most of all have fun and ride your own ride. some of those guys will pull you faster than you might be comfortable, don't worry about it they will slow down to your pace. fassina4 02-28-2005, 07:44 PM Great! Thanks Man....I cant wait. I do not have a trailer so I will be truckin it to the track, Do I need to bring anthing else...like a pup tent, cooler etc. I live like 5 minutes away so idid not know what I will need other than the bike, gas and stands? The CHAD 03-01-2005, 02:39 AM fassina4 Im a control rider for NESBA, welcome to the club. Like was stated before use the control riders, that's what we are there for. Im not sure if I will be making it down or not since I live in delaware. If at any time you have a problem, concern or a question don't be afraid to approach the director (brian johnson) or one of the control riders. Here is a link to the riders manual it should answer most of your questions http://nesba.com/Info/downloads/manual.pdf and get you ready for the track. If you have any other specific questions or just want more detailed information contact me and I will help you as much as possible. Have a great time!
Chad Larsen fassina4 03-01-2005, 05:50 AM Thanks Chad! I am glad to see a CR on here. I will give an update when I get back from the track. I am excited, I just hope that I can keep up a decent pace. Honestly, I am alittle nervous. I hope that goes away after a few laps. bikerxl 03-02-2005, 06:20 AM I would bring a tent if I where you, si if you need to make adjustments on your bike you won't burn up. A couple of chairs will make more comfortable too The CHAD 03-03-2005, 04:11 PM Don't worry about the nerves. I have been doing this for over 5 years and I still get a case of the nerves every now and then(more excitment then anything),just relax and have a good time. Looks like I may end up making it after all, will let you know as the time gets closer. Look for bike #816 and introduce yourself. fassina4 03-03-2005, 07:18 PM I will do. I registered for 819 but not sure if I got it or not. I will probably with just my old truck and my bike. I really do not have any equipment ( trailer, tent and what not) Just me and the bike. I will even have t use my wooden lawn mower ramp to get the bike on and off, but what ever works, at least I will be there! I will def. come and say hey! The CHAD 03-14-2005, 07:27 PM Just wanted to give you a heads up, I will not be there as of now, I had a wreck at the wera races this past sunday and now my bike will not start. Im going to be too busy to get it ready to go so that I could make it down. Have fun and use the control riders they will help and answer any questions you have. | |
