hey, i bought a bike used and it came with a gpr steering dampener. i'm not that serious of a rider so i was gonna remove it and possibly sell it. i havent decided yet. but how do you do about removing the triple tree nut? how big is the socket? thanks in advance.

dude you should definitly keep the dampener. do you still have the factory dampener on it? if not then dont sell the other one.

hm. no i dont have the stock dampener. i wasnt aware that it even had an oem dampener on it. crazy. my 250 ninja doesnt have one, so i assumed this bike wouldnt either. well thanks for the advice. i may end up keepin it after all.

yeah selling a damper thats already installed would be dumb...keep it, its added security when going thru turns..helps keep your front end planted

hey thanks for the offer man, but i think i'm gonna stick with it. i may end up using it a bit this summer. the reason i didnt think i'd use it is because this is my second bike. i rode a 250 ninja for a year. lol that was brutal, but good experience. and i figured the last thing i needed on a 600 was more variables. but i've got it set at 1 right now. and i'm thinkin i might mess around with it come mid season or so.
