I Dropped IT!

Yep...FOR SURE...I finally dropped the damn thing. As you know we lowered it and I haven't had much time to deal with the kickstand so I just been putting on the back stand when I get done riding it so it will lift it just a little enough to hold it up. Well usually I have had someone outside with me when I take it off so they can hold it for me. But I been telling myself I need to learn everything on my own that way I won't have to depend on anyone. I was trying to take it off the stand and it fell over. I got real upset brecause I knew someone would get mad at me. I went over and ACTUALLY PICKED IT UP!!! I was like wow look how strong I am. I'm only in the 110-120lbs range. So I picked it up and went to put my leg over it and my foot slid in something and it fell AGAIN right on top of me. Messed up my leg pretty bad and I got a few places on my arm that are nice and purple. I haven't been out to the garage to look at it sence then.....ERRRRR....AN YES I CRIED! I think it scared me more than anything.

Shit as if once wasn't bad enough, good job picking it up on your own. I got hit from behind once while waiting to turn left and my bike went to fall I saved it but it was heavy as hell for a second or two, and I weigh 220 and work out everyday. Heal up soon so you can drop it again:bounce

Dont be so damn hard on yourself ... Shit f*ing happens... We've all been down once ( if not , it'll happen even to the best of us ) .. At lesast you picked it up  .. Some guys cant even do that ! You'll get it all in time,.. Just do yourself a favor & CUT YOUR KICKSTAND ! Mine almost blew over 1 night before I cut my stand

I didn't think I could pick it up. I'm little and I don't lift much at all. I use to train horses and was kinda strong then but haven't been lifting anything. I guess I was just mad enough or something.

Training horses is a real physical as well as mental challenge ... I did it for years so I am SURE that helped ya out... Plus the adrenaline & fear kicking in too.....

Awww, you popped your 'drop' cherry, lol. I did it for the first time this season, and I been riding for 7 years, and I beat myself into the ground for no damn good reason. Now I'm not sure why I was let it hurt my pride so much. It happens to the best of us. I especially felt better after my husband dropped his this year, too, and he's been riding much longer than me (that's what he got for teasing me about dropping mine; karma is a mf'er). Congrats  on picking it up yourself, I got mine up, too. Makes ya proud, lol. +1 on the guys, I know a guy who's dropped his ZX9 several times & has YET to be able to get it back up by himself.

So I went out there tonight. Just looked at it. I'm kinda scared now to take it off the stand alone. I had knee surg. a while back and the doctor messed it up so it's not good anyways. I'm just afraid it will fall on me again and do something worse. It rained here today but i'm going to ride it tomarrow probably. Well it makes me feel better when you guys say some men can't even pick a bike up. HAHA! GO me!
