I just got a cut down yoshi for next to nothin and an extra stock header for nothin from my mechanic so I thought I'd try something. I just cut down the mid pipe section on the header and this is what I came up with. I plan on painting the canister black like the micron that was on it. What do you think? http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b92/yzf600r0_0/sidecloseshorty.jpg http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b92/yzf600r0_0/sideshorty.jpg Here's what it looked like before..... http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b92/yzf600r0_0/IMG_9211.jpg

Looks great... Is there anything supporting it?

Looks great... Is there anything supporting it? It's short enough that the rear mount for the header gives it plenty of support.

wont your shoe hit the exhaust and melt on it? it looks really close to the right foot peg. i know some guys that had their shoe melt on their mid pipes.

Do you need to have any remapping done for that? How does it sound compared to the longer can?

looks good dude. u gonna powdercoat ur rearsets or go aftermarket? Thanks man, i think i'm just gonna powdercoat the rearsets, although the aftermarket ones are very nice, they're too expencive for me, maybe if I had a race bike.

video of sound? I'll see what I can do but if i had to describe it in words I would say it's got the yoshimura tone with a D&D loudness. It's loud, but a clean sounding loud.

i like the shorty pipe, looks pretty good. how far does it stick out sideways? like the angle it makes with the swingarm? can't really tell from the pics.
