NESBA at BARBERS was awesome!

Well I did my first track day with Nesba at Barbers this past Friday. I think it is probably one of the best experiences I have ever had. The Control Riders helped me more in one 20 min. session than in 3 months of actual riding time on the streets. Marshall was the name of one of the control riders, he took me by myself and we started at the back of the pack and worked our way to the front passing about 50 bikes! I know I am not supposed to use getting my knee down as a guide but it sure felt good to get it down on both sides on most of the turns. I cannot explain how much I learned in one day. I became way faster, but now I really dont want to go that fast on the streets. I think I am ging to become a track whore. I need to get me a 600! I will def. get alot faster with a 600. Anyways just wanted to up date CHAD and other that were chatting with me about it earlier! :thumbup:

awesome .. glad you had a good time. there are a few really cool folks that ride with nesba and it looks like you found a couple. welcome to the crack (oops i meant track ) addiction. your fellow track whores welcome you with open arms and high credit card balances. we work all winter to pay off the season's trackdays just so we can do it all over again.

Fassina4, welcome to our addiction is the common phrase used about right now! I rode on the street for about a year after my first trackday and then it all came to a end, I realized that the street just didn't do much for me so it was time to make a dedicated track bike and have the best times of my life(well almost). It looks like you took advantage of the CR's and used them as much as possible, so many people dont take advantage of all the club has to offer. Sorry I couldn't make it down, the bike still sits in the apartment waiting for some parts,but they should be here tomorrow. Hopefully I will make it down later this year for some fun in the south! If you dont have a 600 by then maybe we can work out a trade, I will let you take mine out if you let me take yours! :D :rofl:
