Looking for sliders for a 1991 GSX-R 750. I'm picking the bike up for $800 from a buddy, with 41k miles, and don't want to trash the plastics.
First bike, nervous as hell. - Luckily my friends describe me as one of the most cautious people they know.. Initial gear purchases will include, Merc jacket, Field Armor boots, Field Armor knee/shin guards, Field Armor (or Velocity Gear) chest/back protector, Hooligan gloves, modular helmet, Mil Spec orange vest.
I like my skin and bones where they are. Broken one rib in life, that was good enough for me. Call me the anti-squid?

I've got a 92 750 and to the best of my knowledge there are no sliders available that directly bolt on.

Someone on this board has a 91 or 92 w/ sliders...but they were custom mounted. I forget who it is.

Very cool threads..
The bike I'm getting has a somewhat rough paint job, a crack in the fairing, and a lot of miles. Probably wont be -that- pristine, but it will be a good way to start..

Don't worry about getting it looking top notch for a little while....chances are you will dump it at some point. Just be careful and learn.
Take the MSF course if you haven't already.
