O, Damm that sucks. I was stationed in Aurora for about a year. Colorado is one of the only places you can get all 4 seasons in one day. It started to snow one morning, didn't stop till the next day. We got snowed in and everything was closed down. I have felt your pain, oh, and by the way it is 70 today. :D I will be picking up my bike tomorrow, I had and unfortunate spill feb 5. Hope it warms up soon for ya. ride safe

When I lived in texas, in la grange, it snowed once in the 10 years i lived there. I'm originally from El Paso, TX. I think it snowed even less than that over there. HELL, I think it rained every ten years. Little bit of a draught :hmmm:

Come To Tx That Only Happens Like Once Every 10 Yrs We are really trying to get transferred out to Texas! My husband works for Halliburton and they have a few open positions in Jacksboro, (not really too sure where that is at :headscrat ) Kilgore, Odessa, Victoria, and Tyler. We have never lived in Texas, but have heard so many wonderful things about the weather and cost of living. We have lived in Jacksonville, Fl while we were both in the Navy. It was ok out there the weather was great (No hurricanes) but it was just not a place I wanted to raise our kid's. At this point I really don't care where we move as long as the weather is nice and the cost of living is reasonable.

ODESSA I THINK IS A FEW OURS WEST OF HOUSTON, TYLER IS ABOUT 1 HOUR EAST OF HOUSTON AND VICTORIA IS A COUPLE OF HOURS SOUTH OF HOUSTON THE OTHERS I HAVE NO IDEA! IT IS NICE AND THE ONLY THING WE GET ALOT OF IS RAIN BUT THAT IS ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME THEN ITS SPERATIC

Yeah they closed down the I-25 all the way from Pueblo to Raton, NM last weekend. We were coming back from Albq. and got stranded in Raton! I don't understand why this specific area gets such shitty weather! Half the time it is Sunny and great farther up north....but O NO not here!!!!! :headshake

Hope it clears up soon for ya. Be careful when you get back on the bike for that first ride. It seems like alot of people are totaling their bikes the first warm day out. Getting anxious or something, and pushing it. Don't really know to tell you the truth, but ride safe, and wear your gear.

At least the snow in Colo melts pretty fast. I was there this past winter, and it snowed 16" when I arrived. The next day it was all melted and mid 50's. That high altitude is just so messed up.

Colorado sounds a lot like Minnesota, snowing at random, and having all 4 seasons in 1 week.
