A friend of mine and eleven others went to the track the other night. I didnt race my bike, but my friend did run his stock busa and a couple more of the eleven. hes a pretty good rider and is really consistant on his busa. 1/8 time on his 03 busa was right at 6.3 seconds. He also rode a 03 GSXR-750 and ran a wopping 6.7 on his very first run! The 750 really surprised all of us. However, the differences in the big bore bikes and the 600s-750s would show more on 1/4 mile track. He also ran a 91 GSXR-1100 which ran 6.8 (carburated of course). That was the only ones he raced while i was watching. I was so timpted to let him run my '03 1000 but decided not to. I dont really have any practice at all drag racing on my own so I didnt want to embarace myself. There was two 05' GSXR-1000 there too, But never did run. I woulda liked to see their times. Owell, it was alot of fun riding to and from the track also, and am looking forward to next Thursday night.
