First MotoGP of '05 Sunday!

It looks as though Suzuki may have finnally got it right in GP. Hopkins is managing to keep up in the top 5 with his GSVR, while teammate Roberts JR finished 14th in yesterdays tests. Will Suzuki finally have a shot at a championship?

I voted Hayden, but I think Rossi will have this due to him being badass and setting a new lap record at Jerez.

Hayden is just holding back for the real race... :funny: But Hopkins will Kick ass this time...hope the wind dies down... :bowdown:

That Quatar stuff says it all about Sete. The other thing that says it all is the way he milks that injury. Sete kinda reminds me of that momma's boy ya new in highshool :) He's kinda psychologically whipped by this incident, and it may mean Hayden's gunna battle Rossi next (he really did a good job). Oh, poor, poor Sete ... he should have spit back at Rossi. Instead he looked like he might cry. I hope somebody kicks Rossi's behind parts, but its gunna take a man.

Yes , I Think It Was Wrong As Well But Racing Is Racing And He Won, Was Not Fair In The Fact That He Pushed Him Wide And Kept Pushing But You Know What Can You Do. He Can Get Agresive When He Is Not The Best Rider On The Track. I Do Not See Ross. Winning The Next Race , And What Is The Deal With Biaggi, Starting In 16 Is He Slacking Or What ! All In All It Was A Good Race! Did Anyone Watch The 250 Gp? I Do Not Keep Up With It As I Do The Larger Bikes But It Was A Good Race As Well, The Bikes Are Closer In Power And The Riders Are Closer In Skill So The Race Seams To Be More Of A Chalenge ! i am also looking for hopkins to get his shit together and start raceing you know , he was supose to be this big protegy (spelling) and he can ride but he just lacks the nerv or skill to keep up with the top 5, he has finished in the points but he realy needs a good win !

I feel its all part of racing. You can get knocked down by a lapped rider and lose the race and there is nothing you could do about it. I see it the same way, rubbings racing. If you've seen Faster, then you've seen rossi pushed wide in a corner by biaggi and rossi passed him that very next corner.

yeah but he had time to pass, i'm sure if it was in the last corner he would've said something later (and probably still did) anyways, the way i saw it was Sete was already mid-lean and had his line established when Rossi came flying in braking EXTREMELY late trying to make up as much ground as he could, and in doing-so he ran right into Sete.....you shouldn't be able to make contact with another rider mid-lean, ESPECIALLY if you/yourself aren't going thru the turn at the same time.....if that was the case i'd go race and be the best cuz i'd wait for people to start leaning into a turn and i'd ram right into them and continue at my weak-ass pace hahahaha

I disagree, I don't think that Rossi went with the intentions of knocking Sete of the track...They were both pushing hard to get that first win, and Rossi just happened to be on the inside, if Sete was on the inside you can't tell me he wouldn't do the same. Makes for awesome racing though :thumbup:

I think it was a bad move on Rossi's part but thats racing. Sets just needs to go out the next race a run Rossi a little wide. Do like the Nascar guys and make them pay.

Makes for awesome racing though :thumbup: when i watched in replay tho' Sete WAS inside until he was FORCED to make room for the king himself....if Sete wasn't already inside, there would have been 0 contact right? he was following his line, leaned and already making his way thru the turn until bumped off course by a rider who had just began the turn. if Gibernau wasn't there I bet Rossi would've ran that turn wide at the rate he was going.

I've been looking at the replay on motogp.com and Rossi out breaked Sete and Sete turned into Rossi late. After looking at the replay, I don't have much of a beef with it. I can see a nice late turn by Sete that arcs right into Rossi. Rossi was loose on the footwork, but it had no effect on his intended line (he could have made that turn). Rossi didn't catch any harsh words from the management and thats why ... it was on the money.

If you had been paying attention to the rest of the race, he was pulling his foot off his left peg throughout the whole race, not sure why he was doing it, but it wasn't just that last corner.
