Well i'm new to Seattle and don't really know the area. Can anyone recommend some good roads also i'm working on a little stunting but haven't been able to since i moved because i don't know of anywhere open and safe. Are there any large open parkinglots or anything of that sort that anyone's used for that purpose. Just want to get a little better and i'm not gonna try on occupied streets. Thanks

There are lots of good roads to ride in this area. My fav is out towards Rainier (decent twisties), there is even a nice trip you can take near St Helens.

Thanks i will try west marginal way. I have road around by rainer my dad lives out there but am looking for just some closer spots that i can get to. Although i won't be riding for a little while, some girl almost t-boned me and i laid the bike down trying to avoid her. Luckily her insurance is paying for it but sliding across the pavement is never a good thing.

Seattle has people that don't know how to drive, not dumb drivers. Then again, I'm a cali driver and last time I was up there, it seems liked no one knew how to drive period, even in the rain where in Seattle it's a common event over there. And oh...the worst traffic I have ever dealt with was in Seattle area...holy crap, I used to drive to the Bay area in California, but Seattle takes the prize...sheesh! Took me two hours and a half to get from Lynnwood to the Sea-Tac airport and I barely made my flight back to Cali. By the way, you bike riders up there are brave because I've seen you guys out there on I-5 riding along and in turencial downpour.

while i agree that Seattle drivers are horrible they are not the worst. Here in arizona is really bad becuase of the immagration (not trying to be racist but i know several people hit by illegals with no insurance and/or no liscense). I lived out in Kent for 5 years and down here in AZ for 3. Seattle drivers are just on too much coffee. But i do agree the traffic is the worst.

There like a dozen of those stands now, I dont ride in the rain cause its cold, but it makes for some cool photo ops though, with the water coming off the tires throwin a roost with the rider all tucked, very nice.
