Although i have taken my kids ridin with me, i have been hesitant to let them go at t solo. Yesterday, i got the balls to let him go!
We go 8am, give em the pep talk, brake is here, gas a little, brakes, neutral, brakes, steering, brakes! haha
I should of just let em go.
I put em on, off he goes, only in first, around a 50' circle in the corner
of the sandpit. He does like 10 laps, everything cool. I take some pics, vids,
proud dad shit!!!
Then i start the 65, i got for em, to big for em yet. There we go, dad followed by son, around this track. Over the woops, around burms. I was Proud, you could see my smile through my helmet!
here some pics, he just turned 7, on 4-3-05.

Start them young. The more they know the less likely they are to get hurt bad. Looks like fun.
That's what it's all about right there. I have a 4 year old son and I want to get him a bike when he's ready. According to him, he's ready now. Awesome man, talk about quality time with the fam.

My son was also telling me he's ready, since he was like 4.
I had a dinli trex 90 qaud, really bad shape, but that's where he learned the gas, brakes, etc.. with me on the back. I traded that thing for the KX65 in the pics. I seem to find great deals!! First time he sat on my streetbike, he grabbed the throttle and cracked it, didn't even get scared!
sorry dude, not Rossi, i was thinking Mladin!!hahahaha
all the way suzuki!!!!!!!!!!
