NYC/Long Island Riders

Hey guys i just got out of Military and might me moving back to Levittown,NY.Last time i lived in queens just before i joined military i wasnt in bikes.Just want to know where to hook up with some of the guys to ride with. So how is it riding in NY traffic i really hate the traffic up there any of you commute on the bike.Cause that would be my only transportation for a while

Ltown, theres a bike meet on tues night behind applebees off exit 63 on the lie. I'm out east but whenever we head out west we just lane split when theres traffic.

WOW exit 63 ....... that hella far from me in Brooklyn you're from brookyln and you say "hella"???das weeeiiirddd^_^.....isn't that a cali thing?????Levitown, that's not far from me at all......like 10 mins away.....trafic sux out here, but das why the bike is so advantagious......plenty of places to ride and people to ride with.

but those Suffolk highway cop and State troopers are real pains when it comes to dipping thru traffic

yes, but suffolk there's hardly any traffic.....nassau on the other hand, the cops are so damn crooked......and they're absolute d**kheads.....suffolk, they're relatively chill, only if ur real respectful and don't give em any backtalk.....ive yet to have a problem.

U kidding me!? Suffolk cops are the worst. Their pumped up egos have them all screwed up. Biggest a-hole cops I have seen by far. :headshake

have to agree, never had any problems out here in nassau but suffolk cops are such ball busters

Any of you guys wanna meet up and ride Friday/Saturday night ? i just started to meet up with a bunch of guys in Brooklyn and we take cruz's through NYC Friday Night & Saturday Night .... last weekend it was 8 of us and we meet with 10-15 other riders in Harlem and it was cool as we were chased off the gas station we all agree to go to City Island and it was a blast to see 20+ bikes on the Cross Bronx Expressway.... City Island was a cool hang out spot as we talked bike for 2 hours and a few street fighters did their thing ....
