Regarding the damages, the police have it in a towing company, so today we are picking it up. We will find out then, cuz we havent seen it. Man i hope its not too bad. No arrests because the police found it by itself alone in the middle of nowhere. F@king bastards :bringiton I hope who ever did this pays for it soo bad :fu:

I have my bikes locked in my garage with 2 cars in the drive way blocking anything coming out of the drive way and my truck at the end of the drive way blocked those cars... not to mention a dog that barks at every freaken noise he hears... Im still researching purchasing a weapon in Cali and the legality of shooting anyone who is caught touching my shit. when i come to work it sits right in front with the security guard staring in its directions all day and all the nosey people at work watching it

The Lojack idea is nice, but I wouldn't use it as my only defense. The bike is gone by the time it's discovered and who knows what could of happened to it. It could be in 2 pieces. I would have a frontline defense as well. The bike has to be stolen before Lojack kicks in so doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose. Although, I'll probably get that too after I get my first alarm system. Some thefts are unavoidable. If they want it badly enough they will get it. That's when Lojack saves the day.

I carried a Springfield xd9mm for a while. Had to sell though, low on money, it was also bulky. I am looking to get a Bersa Thunder 9mm, very nice gun! Also, just a question, your bike gets stolen and F***ed up, and you get it back as is, insurance doesnt do anything about it??

At least yours has been found. I'm still in the "hopeful" stage about the 06, though I gave up on the 05 ever being found again a while ago... Though I did see an 04 600 on eBay that had an odometer that read 15,471... Which is just a smidge higher than the odo on my 05 said when it got stolen... Chango

dang dude...that sux. well i got it today and i just found out how EASY it is to steal a bike. its unreal . they popped the steering lock to free it , and then they stripped the wires that go to the ignition and just basically hotwired it. plastics and bike wise . still in good condition (thank god) i will get pictures of the wires they stripped in a bit im at work right now

isym

here you go the one with the bunched up wires is the left hand control they sliced it in half the one with the 2 wires sticking out , i will have to from now one bunch them up together then turn on the bike. i will probably rewire it all this weekend =) http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u6/whitebyrdzz/Photo-0060.jpg http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u6/whitebyrdzz/Photo-0061.jpg

Also your insurance company is required to return your vehicle to Pre-accident condition... you should be ble to take it to a shop and get it fixed for free, if you have comprehensive that is.

........Also your insurance company is required to return your vehicle to Pre-accident condition...... False. Your insurance is require to compensate you for your loss. Has nothing to do with fixing your bike. 1) decide what is fair compasation from your insurance company. The adjuster will try to work up a fair value, you can negotiate this number. 2) get your bike fixed. Now find a shop or do it yourself. However you feel you want to fix your bike, it's up to you. Since the bike is not yours, owned by a bank or finance company, you may have restriction on what you can do based on the contract you signed with the owner of the bike. But this has nothing to do with the insurance settlement. Jon
