Valhalla 07-26-2007, 09:04 AM how do you think your bike will fail? is your chain falling off or something? 2000limited 07-26-2007, 09:09 AM No not that bad i have flush mount front blinkers and a fender el. kit and also a full yoshi exhaust but as far as safty its as sound as the day it came off the show room. K6GSX-r 07-26-2007, 09:19 AM You should be find. MSF course here in Memphis makes sure that you bike is legal. Lights, mirrors, license plate, and etc. MSF concerns is safety and the rider. If you always think safety you will ride safe. Or so they say.:hmmm: Valhalla 07-26-2007, 09:24 AM No not that bad i have flush mount front blinkers and a fender el. kit and also a full yoshi exhaust but as far as safty its as sound as the day it came off the show room.
then dont sweat it and go have fun brire6 07-26-2007, 12:28 PM I went to that one there. They are pretty cool. You shouldnt have anything to worry about. 2000limited 07-26-2007, 12:35 PM cool thanks i dont think i will have any trouble i just wanted to make sure hate to get kicked out then i can comm. all the way to oceanside everyday. heavydudi 07-26-2007, 05:42 PM do any of you know if they offer the msf course on the guam military bases? myselfaffliction 07-29-2007, 10:27 AM I live here in imperial beach and have actually went on that base to take the course. Those guys are going to be your best instructors. They are very cool about everything. As long as you have the legal stuff on you bike ya know, mirrors, brake lights, turn signals, etc. Then you are ok. They don't care if it's a whole custom bike you bring in there as long as it has the legal stuff. Infact you might get a lot of compliments on your bike from the instructors depending on which one you get. I know two of the guys, one is a retired chief and another guy both go to trackdays a lot. The retired chief has a gsxr 1000 that he races. Now i'm rambling, anyways, don't sweat it everything will be fine and you will enjoy your time there. GSXRiderK6 08-22-2007, 01:22 PM I took the ERC course in IB to get base stickers. The guys that teach the course are really cool and knowlagable. You should have no problem passing inspection. Just check your tire pressure, all your lights such as blinkers, brake, and headlight. I dont even remember them checking the bikes out when i went, but they said this is what they normally check for. 2000limited 08-22-2007, 03:03 PM Yeah just got done two weekends ago and it was the best time i had. It was funny cause they asked me why i was taking the erc due to the fact that i race myself and i was doing the weave at like 30 so i got called the speed demon.:laughingr :laughingr It was a blast thanks for all the support GSXRiderK6 08-23-2007, 12:35 PM glad you had fun dude! PM me sometime, we can ride... | |
