Rosarito Ensenada

Do any of you San Diego Guys do the run to Ensenada or Rosarito? The Toll rode is pretty nice, few cops, and if you do get a ticket it will not kill you in the courts. Nice view of the ocean. Cool ocean weather Just got back a few minutes ago and didn't see 1 sport bike.... Made me wonder..

I am to scared to take my bike over teh border.

I have some friends that ride down there every year.. but hell with the way people drive down there it scares the crap out of me

I have lived in Tijuana most my life, and I agree, folks are nuts, on top of that, the roads in Tijuana are in very poor condition, so poor, that riding can me quite dangerous. But the toll road to Ensenada & Rosarito is quite different. It’s a Federal Road. The road is in very good shape and maintained well. Today I saw lots of “Chopper” style bikes, but no sport bikes. It’s a great ocean ride, can cruise at 90mph knowing that if you do get stopped the ticket can be quite affordable and will not ruin your driving :) record. Although today I didn’t see any cops down to Ensenada or back to Tijuana. I hate driving fast in the USA knowing that if I get stopped, it becomes a real pain in the ass. Court date, driving school, crazy fees, points on the license and a raise in insurance rates.
