Any gsxr riders in the eastern ontario area. just curious. im from kingston ontario. K7 gsxr 600

Im about 3.5hrs from you in a small town of Paris Ontario..But I know the area alittle I have done a lot of track time at shannonville..Good talking to you...:thumbup:My current ride is a 07 gsxr 1000.

I'm from London, I've been wondering about doing a track day at shannonville. Whats involved in doing that?

It's really easy you need to take all your coolant out and replace it with distilled water ,and either silicone your oil drain plug or safty wire it so it can not come lose,and be sure your brakes are in good working order.Also put tape over all of your lights and mirrors,or remove them all together..But be sure to unplug your lights first because the lights makes a mess of the tape..(heating it up)or you can call turn2 racing and rent a bike that is all race ready for you, and you just show up and ride..No worries about wrecking your nice street bike..remember to just ride within your limates,and have fun..

Really happy to hear from all u guys. Too bad most of us are atleast a couple hundred KM away from eachother or we could organize a ride. Goin to Shannoville to watch Canadian superbike on Aug 1 or 2nd or somethin! P.s. young & fast your bike is gnarly! Stacks sound serious or what? I actually bought my bike at Newmarket Suzuki up by Whitby. CANT SAY ONE GOOD THING ABOUT THAT PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have the same bike, but mine is an '05 I live in Longueuil, PQ. We should try and get together to compare notes on the bike. I don't know anybody who has one excepte the dealer I bought it from. It's true there are a lot of gsx here but not that many 1000.

Yup .. the 13 is the highway that goes from the 20 to the 640 .... bike night is close to the wal-mart on the big shopping center at exit Samson (first exit on the laval island) On a good evening .. can get up to 100 or more bikes. BTY ... I had a great ride today :bounce but darn those gix seat aren't made for skinny butt after 4 hours :headshake

I'll most likely be there (bike night in Laval). I started reading more M4E. Less Gixxer related topics but more people close to home. :) By the way, where did you go Sunday for 4 hours? (and yes, the GSX ain't the most confy bike... I am looking for a gel seat on the web). Do you post on M4E? I remember seeing you avatar there. Am I dreaming?

Well might see you there then !!! We went 344 to Montebello .. then 323 up to Tremblant .. came back 327 to Lachute and 148 to st-eustache. Was a nice ride :thumbup: This Saturday we're doing 148-Lachute, 327 to Tremblant, chemin Nordais to St-Donat and coming back the 329. 2 friends from Kemptville are coming with us ... Ottawa area is not reputed for its curvy roads :lol: I'll try and look for ya at bike night ;)

I have the 07 1000..black and burnt orange. ..I wanna try the calibogie motorsport track..every turn is either an up or down slope..i hear its better than shannonville.Im in petawawa...i ran a 10.6 at 137mph..need more practice..lol.

thats cool, my girlfriend is from deep river, haven't done the trip on the bike yet though i go there for wings all the time, and to watch UFC fights....and the thursday bike meet is the first i have heard of it. literally 6 inutes from my place.....shit im still up for an end of the year bang'er if anyone wants to hit the road

i went for a quick boot. only 20 kms around town here in Whitby tonight. A tad chilly but i wont put it away til the snow is on the ground. maybe well get some wacky work whether again

couldnt resist. took a boot up to blue heron, played a few hands and booted back down hwy 12 today. chilli but better than anything else still. ive checked wing shack out a couple times only for da wings. didnt know it was a bike hang out. sweet bike btw. :thumbup: i was gonna check out the new tmp sunday, but the weather looks not ideal. not inspired to drain my coolant.
