Questions about salvage title in CT

Im considering buying a 02 gsxr with a salvage title. A bolt mounting bracket broke off where the shifter bolts to. the bike was a loss due to that because for insurance reasons it would need a new frame and to be transplanted into it. My question is do i waste my time trying to get this bike registered. Or will it just be simply impossible. thanks :headscrat

Well I'd do it if not just for proof of ownership. Plus don't you HAVE to have it registered in order to drive it legally on the road?

i have done it before.its not too bad.pm if u need help.check ct's dmv site.u need to have pics and documentation of what u do,down to receipts for bolts from the hardware store.It can be done though.
