photo shoot

This is a add-on to another post but i would like to set up a photo shoot with a couple of gsxr's and wrx's for a web page back drop any one in socal down hit me up and lets get some dates going. THere will also be a zx 10 and zx6 there also and a gsxr 1 and 13 so we got plenty of bikes need cars hah.

It was just an idea thinking of going up to el cap. res and get some nice pics or if you know of a better place. like i said just an idea. C

Not real sure as of right now i am open to sug. if you have any the last one we did was at El cap. pics turned out really nice just hot as hell up there. I will see if i can up load a couple.And if we cant get the wrx's we can always just do a bike shot cause i have a lady that is a very very expensive person that will do it for free.

Well my REX(wrx) have all kinda mods and upgrades so who really cares as long as you love you car/bike and you are happy who else really matters I dont street race or race on the freeways i just like to look super pretty:laughingr

wow thats crazy... my bone stock "ricer" STI also dyno's 300hp...go figure Never said I had anything against Subarus. They are very nice cars. I wouldnt consider them rice by any means (granted it isnt naturally aspirated) I consider rice cars with thousands of dollars into them and still dont have the numbers that alot of cars come stock with so dont get all butt hurt. I just went to the drag strip a couple weeks ago (1/8 mile) and this dude had a dodge neon that had the whole engine done up and was spraying nitrous and everything and as we were coming up through the line he is pushing his car the entire time and waving the hood to keep his engine cool and I still smoked him. I forget how many thousands of dollars he put in this car but it was a ridiculous number but my point is I just dont see the point in putting that kind of money in a car that still isnt fast.

Yeah i think i got jacked a while ago. But as far as the photo shoot we are looking towards the fall time so we can have some nice colors on the trees and back drops. Plus the chick doing the pics for us is getting a some kinda new super camera and wants us to hold out till then but what i am thinking now is do a huge shoot and a bbq and just make it an all day event what do you guys think she is willing to do as many bikes and clubs as we can get. Plus if anyone is looking to join a club let me know we are starting a new group well try to anyway that will make 1,000,001 clubs in socal:laughingr

Whatever different stroke for different folks but do you honestly think that import 4 cylinder engines are faster than v8 muscle cars. granted they weigh less but not that much less. a Stock crx only weighs about a third less than my camaro z28 but the camaro has twice the HP and 3 times the torque and that is just stock. I also have a 1970 camaro with a 383 supercharged that is pushing well over 500 horsepower and only cost me 7 grand to get there and only weighs 2800 pounds. You go to any track and its the suped up muscle cars that are lifting the front tires up that are getting the fastest times. People think the muscle old muscle cars are super heavy and some of them are but the 1970 camaro is 3200 pounds stock which isnt that heavy in the first place.

front wheel drive cant lift the front end The point is its not the 4 cylinder imports that are owning the track. and not all 4 cylinder imports are front wheel drive. I am not saying there arent fast import 4 cylinder cars because there are but those guys have to pump a ridiculous amount of money into turbos that run an outrageous amount of boost with nitrous. I only have a 383 pushing well over 500 HP and it cost me only 8000 dollars to get there and that is everything from machine work to bolt ons. How much would it cost to get a Vtec engine to push that much power and how much boost and nitrous would you have to spray.

$8,000 into a 383 for over 500hp is ridiculous my buddy's dad is pushing that with same motor for around $1,200. and yes i get your point about the cost, I personaly like the challenge of taking half the cylinders and beating some one with more power, and yes power to wight ratio, my car weighs 1,745 lbs with a full tank of gas, just weighed it on my buddy's race scales.

Well i guess i am going to have to start a new thread cause i have been jacked by nasty import haters. Just kidding. As far as the photo shoot we are looking around 15 oct. it is a ways a way i understand but my photographer is getting a new camera and wants us to wait due to better quailty. But i am up for a bbq anytime let me know what up and i will try to set it up at our complex.
