Valhalla 09-29-2007, 12:23 AM just dont get to close, your breath may make the frame break
jdm_turbo_civic 09-29-2007, 01:28 AM ugly..the exhaust is gross looking...
dusteefartz 09-29-2007, 04:13 AM who cares what the exhaust looks like..its the first to go anyway...I think they look SICK!!!!!!
sgtmac 09-29-2007, 06:17 AM I'm diggin it! Yeah, the pipe looks ugly, but who cares.. Get a new one!
612gixxer 09-29-2007, 06:21 AM I like...the exhaust doesn't really matter cause not many people keep it anyways.
dzverko 09-29-2007, 06:54 AM I like the way it looks and also the "mode switch"...front end looks very nice  the exhaust is defenatly a NO!
Isn't that white/silver a 600?
EVOL 8 09-29-2007, 07:06 AM who cares what the exhaust looks like..its the first to go anyway...I think they look SICK!!!!!!
+1...I love them, and I really don't think the exhaust is that bad.
Grip72 09-29-2007, 07:30 AM wtf does the "mode" do?
dg78o6 09-29-2007, 08:41 AM wtf does the "mode" do?
same as the 07 1000. changes fuel mapping on the fly.
MITSUFINMGR 09-29-2007, 09:23 AM So for 08 the 750's are going to have a mode switch also :hmmm:
I wonder why ?
gadgetcrx 09-29-2007, 09:39 AM I like them. Don't know whythey put the mode switches on them again. I din't think it was to popular..
Xtreme Rider 09-29-2007, 09:49 AM Yea im tradin my bike in when these new ones come out and getting a 08 750 for sure!!!

Jayonhavok 09-29-2007, 04:22 PM Let me guess.... Mode A - Pocket bike
Mode B - Ninja 250
Mode C - 600...
Tell me this... how much fun would 50cc or 250cc power be, if it still weighs as much as a 600?
BallHawk3 09-29-2007, 04:26 PM http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z41/stevemcqueen007/suzuki13.jpg
LONG LIVE MEGATRON!!!!
Jayonhavok 09-29-2007, 04:27 PM Pretty soon, we'll be having threads about "WTF, I got beat by a Segway!"
And we'll have to reply..."Did you check what mode you were in?"
Jayonhavok 09-29-2007, 04:28 PM LONG LIVE MEGATRON!!!!
 :funny: :laughingr :funny:
+1
napalm 09-29-2007, 05:07 PM I think the mode is to make it easyer to ride in cities where you dont want that explosive acceleration.
A-mode is the racing mod, while C-mode is the slow city riding mod.
seems quite clever to me.
and I realy like the 2008 design!
accept for the exhaust of course...
The designers were probably high, or just really really drunk when they designed that piece of shit...
SteveMcqueen 09-29-2007, 07:45 PM Isn't that white/silver a 600?

GSX-R750 Overview
bursthead 09-29-2007, 09:15 PM i still think the 06-07 design is way better.. Though that new mode switch is pretty cool.
Boxcart1 09-29-2007, 09:52 PM I agree the, everyone gets their own exhaust, but the color schemes are sick:thumbup:
brire6 09-29-2007, 10:04 PM They did a couple small changes I like a lot.
cagefreak 09-30-2007, 01:35 AM magnificent...
nomadic 09-30-2007, 01:50 AM I think it looks okay. I am still happy with the looks of my 06 750.
The mode selector is a "double-edge sword". I like the fact that you can "kill" some of the power. But I can see the noobs and squids now....."This is my very first bike and I PROMISE to keep it the bike in C-mode while I am learning."
It will replace the statement... "This is my first bike and I PROMISE to take it easy and go slow."
It appears you are correct. here are the 750 colors.
That's what I thought, judging by the forks.
Too bad there's no white/silver 750.
DrIoannis 10-01-2007, 05:20 AM I do not understand why they will make a 600 with mode thing:wtf:
Tungue 10-01-2007, 06:38 AM It's okay. Guess, I'll be sticking with my '02 for another year or two.
Boogieman065 10-01-2007, 08:47 AM I like them. Don't know whythey put the mode switches on them again. I din't think it was to popular..
They're on there for squids who can't control the power.:headshake
splymale 10-01-2007, 03:11 PM I like that white/silver one but I think I'll stick to my 07 750 for a while.
pbehnke2003 10-01-2007, 05:03 PM I was not able to see all the pics, but I will say that the new exhaust looks hideous. and for the mode switch, If you learn how to use the throttle then it shouldn't be a problem in small cities...I don't have one on mine and I don't have any problems.
Patrick
GixxerChris 10-01-2007, 06:00 PM I like the new design of the rims...not a very noticeable difference, but they look a little more sporty.
TheGriffin 10-01-2007, 06:36 PM I wonder if the front end is interchangeable with the 07 06's
I just like more head lights
SimpleSimple 10-02-2007, 12:01 PM The headlight change reminds me of the Subaru change from 05 to 06. I like it tho, looks mean:thumbup:
drew454u 10-02-2007, 08:19 PM It's okay. Guess, I'll be sticking with my '02 for another year or two.
+1 I am still loving my 03 750. that white and silver is sick looking though, i really like that color scheme.
Gnborsi 10-02-2007, 10:09 PM Ive decided to get me a 750 and now i know that the wait paid off!

By Sir HattoriHanzo
Honestly dont worry about the mode selection, I have probably used it on my K7 about three times, just to see the difference.
Turning down the power is like making your girl's tits smaller. lol
tony sinclair 10-05-2007, 06:40 AM mode switch is dumb, i think ill stick with throttle control
Gnborsi 10-05-2007, 03:09 PM actually thats a good thing that they put a mode switch so the beginners can ride in the rain and not wreck their bike ( unless they are real dumb)
TheGriffin 10-05-2007, 07:54 PM actually thats a good thing that they put a mode switch so the beginners can ride in the rain and not wreck their bike ( unless they are real dumb)
+ the added mpg
racerfranz 10-06-2007, 07:26 AM Don't you guys know anything? The mode switch is really there to work with a kit ecu ( like the `07 1000) for traction control and total ignition programability. I think it's just a gimmick as far as street riding goes, prolly be nice for rain riding though, to "soften the hit".
cpl40mm 10-06-2007, 04:31 PM mode switch will only have a use on the track. no point what so ever on the street. Riding in the rain:headscrat its been done for years w/o a mode swith. Cant see the point. Id personally rather spend the money on after market power commanders and other stuff to get the bike how I want it and not use whats given to me from the factory. Thats just me I guess. The black 750 is my new goal though. It looks gorgeous.
looks sick all comes down to how it rides but,

I think what's given from factory is more than ok. Maybe some additional investment in brakes could be fine.
Think we are not far away from time you would get a software to "program" your map as you like it though (perhaps connect laptop and CDI via USB port, bluetooth or whatever some day :) ). 3 options are just the beginning ... to give sth over competition, but not to release full innovation potential too early
Tony79dr 10-13-2007, 05:09 PM Wow, Man I would love to have a newer GSXR 750. My track bike is a 2001 Gixxer 750, and I love it, and I mean loooooooooovvvvvveeeeeeeee it. I ca not imagine what a newer 750 must be like. I'll ride my 750, 2 more track seasons and then upgrade. Wow thos bike are pretty, but that exhaust Barf!
tomas750 10-14-2007, 06:46 AM Wow, Man I would love to have a newer GSXR 750. My track bike is a 2001 Gixxer 750, and I love it, and I mean loooooooooovvvvvveeeeeeeee it. I owned or at least had an opportunity to ride for a while all the GSX-R generations from 96/97 model and I loved them all. All provided me with superb power, handling, raw behaviour and ... perhaps the most important thing - 100% confidence in what the machine does under my butt (exactly what Kevin Schwantz says in new GSX-R 600/750 commercial about confidence and that GSXR is a perfect motorcycle - I know from my experience he is not bullshitting, only GSXR's give u this feeling) - probably the main reason I stay and will always stay with GSX-R.
So whether you upgrade or not it does not matter, unless you hunt for lap times - that's the only difference I can see between older and younger GSXR generations
PILOT0987 10-14-2007, 06:50 AM busa busa busa thats all thats on my mind
SuzuGSXR04 10-14-2007, 10:34 AM The signals on the mirrors draw to much attention to them...otherwise I think they look sick...the white is awesome.
Gnborsi 10-14-2007, 12:31 PM Suzuki Updated their web site with the new 2008 line All of them
