 I live near trenton Nj, and I heard that their are some really good twisties up 29 called the high point. It is in NY or the nj/ny boarder. If someone could give me directions and what road this exactly is I think it follows the river, and there is another that comes down/up the mountain. Anything would be great, it you can tell me what roads you take. Or an address I can put in mapquest.
-no worries:thumbup:
Highpoint is in NJ. That part of the state borders NY...The roads realy are endless up there. You could keep going till you reach Canada:lol: A popular road is 97 it runs from Port Jervis, NY to Hankock,NY....tons of bikers up there every Sunday.......Take a look at the link. it will help you find all kind of great roads..............http://www.motorcycleroads.us/index.html

That is an excellant map of good twisty roads. WE hit most of those in the Hudson valley area.
Route 23 leads to High Point NJ. There is a very scenic spot at the top of high point. You can see the all 3 states on a clear day, Ny/NJ/PENN. It is the highest point in NJ.
Route 23 will lead you right into route 97. 97 follows along the delaware river and thru the HAWKS NEST area. Once you are past the hawks nest area, 97 has some nice long sweepers. WE usually eat in Barryville on route 97 at the Carriage house. A very popular biker hang out.

I used to live there in the summers for about 10 years until last. Let me tell you, the roads up there are unbelievable. Especially taking route 23 on the back side of the mountain away from route 84, talk about a long windy road.
The roads are really great up in that area especially at this time of year. I just did a 400 mile day on Sunday. 250 of those miles were in the twisties. Hell yeah:thumbup:
