Guys, More frequently than before, I am getting some kind of error when I start up my bike. Normally, when you start up the bike, the red temp gauges pretty much turns off right away, but lately, if I start it, the red light stays on the entire time and the Temp changes back and forth between an actual temperature, and then to F1. Not sure what it means, but I do not run my bike when that happens. I have to shut her down, give it a few minutes, and then restart...
Any ideas? Is it something with the fuel mapping maybe? Just throwing out some guesses...
I bumped into a kid in Vernon and he rides with his like that all the time on his 750. He said it was because he changed his exhaust.. not sure if I buy into that or not...
Any help is greatly appreciated!

that is actually a fault code, kind of like a check engine light in your car. Here is a thread to help you along your way.

it's the set valve most likely out of adjustment or is kinda clogged up and needs to be lubed. its right before the muffler at the end of the header maybe just try to spray from wd-40 on the area.
mine has been doing that, but I noticed it while it cycling before the crank the engine, so i turn the key off and try it again and it guess it cycled properly and i start the engine and no problems.

Nice WS6. The pewter is nice. My bro has an 02 WS6. Black and Black.. and he never drives it. Bought it brand new in 02.. just broke 5k on it.
Nice bikes too. Like the silver R emblem on the white and silver. Real nice job
