Sac riders...

riding Sunday, anyone down?

i'll have to get back to you on that one - ... i think i've got some big assignmetns/and i kno i have a test next week...

I'm goin out with about 10 others. I'm gonna be leaving around noon, up 50, up icehouse, left on wentworth springs, through Georgetown, up 49 and down 80. We'll then grab something to eat wherever we descide. Then probably through Sunrise, maybe folsom-auburn, fair oaks, or folsom. Then head down to Old Sac or something. Whoever wants to come let me know when and where you want to join, where you want to go. This route is completely fly by moon. OK, rode around for a little, came home to get food, now the plan is. Watch Saw 4 at 2:40pm at K street mall. Then go riding the rest of the day. Join us if you like

How did it go out at Salmon yesterday? I was chillin at the river for several hours and kept hearing bike after bike riding across the bridge. On the way out, near the beginning of Salmon and Greenvalley, there was 2 CHP motorcycle cops ( a couple turns in to Salmon). My radar went off luckly, but I'm sure they were nabbin bikers though. I passed by a group of gsxr's travelling the opposite direction on Salmon Falls Road on Sunday, somewhere around 2:00 p.m. Anyone from here?

wasn't us, we left Salmon Falls around 12:30.

that sucks. where was he when it happened? happened in his apartment complex - parked overnight 10pm to 10am, 12 hours of no contact... im almost thinking of adding a pager to my alarm...although i know of ways to setup gps tracking to it so if it does go... you'll find them and then you take care of business...

A couple of us are going up Forrest Hill and down Mosquito Ridge tomorrow. Dude you road Mosquito Ridge Road? Holy shiitzer! That's a hell of a road! Steep grade roads and plus one wrong mistake and you're over the hill. Also that road is full of logging trucks and I find rocks every so often on that road. Where does that road lead to anyway? I only go as far as up (actually down) to Blacksmith Road and then go through the mountains to a project site.

Mosquito Ridge is my favorite road in the area. We road it the day after a nice rain and it had alot of rocks on it, but it was still a great ride. From what I've been told, it goes to Tahoe. I've only ridden until the road gets boring. I've never had a problem with traction up there either. It's pretty sticky most of the time.
