Boogieman065 10-29-2007, 11:48 AM Kawasaki made space rockets before motorcycles:thumbup:

yup....they make tools, tractors, construction, transportation alot of stuff. But I don't think they actually main planes anymore, just the engines for aircraft. Kawasaki Heavy Industries. Out of the big 4, they are the oldest.
but the sad thing is they still don't make as much money as Honda! In terms of anual revanue, its Honda, then Suzuki, Kawasaki & Yamaha.
Considering how large of a market kawsaki covers, and their only ahead of yamaha by a bit considering all yamaha does besides motorsports is pianos. They must not be very good in investing money, or should I say as good as honda in the money department
blueblack07 10-29-2007, 12:52 PM You learn something everyday! Thanks guys

History repeats. They lost against us in the skies. They lose against us on the streets. They'll never learn.:headshake

Yes I do. I even know that the two teamed up at 1 time. Just thought it was funny, that's all.
Mister Tee 10-30-2007, 03:53 PM Honda makes the engines for the Honda jet under license from GE, and sells the plane under the Honda label. The airframe is actually made by Piper.

damn Tee, you in the industry or something?
matthewo 10-30-2007, 09:42 PM Considering how large of a market kawsaki covers, and their only ahead of yamaha by a bit considering all yamaha does besides motorsports is pianos. They must not be very good in investing money, or should I say as good as honda in the money department
yamaha does a lot more then motorsports and pianos, even if you include boat engines as motorsports. they make speakers, home audio things like cd and dvd players, amps. guitar amps also, keyboards, which you can say are pianos. they also make computer parts, which include sound cards, and cd drives. generators, golf carts.
but i do agree about kawasaki, they make some big engines. i was reading in american motorcyclist about the kawasaki company, and motorcycles only amount to about 1/4 of sales. they make huge engines some over 30 feet tall cranking out a 100,000 hp. for big container ships.
Boogieman065 10-30-2007, 09:56 PM This website is getting too educational for me:hammer:
almano 10-31-2007, 05:49 PM Kawasaki makes the Subway cars running in NYC.
Mister Tee 11-01-2007, 02:37 PM damn Tee, you in the industry or something?
I was, yes. But that was a long time ago. I just keep up with it.
I'm in a different industry now.
gon2fast 11-01-2007, 08:19 PM I think it was sport rider I was reading about everything Kawasaki is in. They own quit possibly the worlds best race track. It was built by a billionare in the early 90's but was too remote. Kawasaki picked it up and uses it for private testing. Too bad that didn't pay off.
All the big four are involved in much much more than bikes.
Back on topic, where the hell are the handlebars on that bike?
