Tuesday me freind went to a track day here in ontario Canada,at mosport raceway.He was be hinde another rider that was passing a rider infront of him on the outside he lost control went into the run off (grass) and hit the wall.This corner at mosport is very fast maybe 180-200 km.Ambulance personel tried to revive him but with no luck track was shut down and police showed up.What a horrible day he left a wife and young child behinde.
RIP fellow rider!!!!

Truly sad. It's not much that you hear of Track fatalities. Most of the time the run-off areas are big enough so that riders do not hit the wall.

RIP. They didn't have an air wall/air fence? I ride a Texas World Speedway and there is an off camber turn (turn 9) that has a tire wall about 30-40ft off the track with concrete behind the tires. A track rider was killed there a few years back. On race days they put up the air wall but on track days it's not there...sucks. The sad thing is that this guy went to the track to ride "safely" in a controlled environment. We know you will crash on the track at sometime...we just don't think about losing our lives.

+1 on the airfence....isn't there one at all? That sucks to hear, I'm sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry for the wife and child that he has left behind also....
