kill@cj 12-17-2007, 09:21 AM Hey whats up guys just getting ready to move down south a little further to fl. goin to orlando. don't really know what part yet just know i am going to be moving on feb. 15 so are there any curvy places to ride around there or is it just all straight
fastblkrex 12-17-2007, 09:49 AM STAY IN N.C. the roads are so much better, I live in Orlando and the curvy roads are very hard to find. From Orlando you can ride about 1/2 hour out to Clermont that has some nice curvy roads, but not like what is in N.C. Florida is mainly straight flat roads, thats why most of the bikes here are slammed and extended:infrandom
woo as long as you're not moving to hialeah
kill@cj 12-17-2007, 11:07 AM well to tell the truth it is not like i am moving only because i want to. mainly i am moving so i can go to MMI already applied and accepted. so i figure i want to make the best of it maybe once i get down there you can show me some of the places

Sure when you get down here hit me up, I'll show you around. Just remember to ride as much as you can up there, cause once you get to Florida you will miss the twisties so much, just ask Inferno (another GSXR.com member)
kill@cj 12-17-2007, 12:12 PM now the really sucky part i am still down with my broken leg so i will probably only have about two weeks to ride up here so i will def. have to come back here and visit the twisties
novakane 12-18-2007, 06:42 AM there are some sweet roads in florida, they're not all over but there are some. "howie in the hills", aka "sugar loaf" is teh highest point in florida, its basically like a mountain a few miles long. nothing compared to NC of course but you could easily ride the thing all day long. longs of twists, turns and elevation changes. i live in palm coast, which is roughly 45 -1 hour from orlando. pm me when you get here and we'll let you know when we're going there next :D

man i wanna go to MMI so bad , good job man i hope it really pans out for you .
kill@cj 12-18-2007, 09:49 AM yeah after a few years of working at a dealership or something like that i really want to open my own custom race bike shop:bounce

probably tradeport road......surrounding side roads by the airport........florida lacks curves.
MITSUFINMGR 12-18-2007, 05:49 PM I was just showed a development that is like a clover leaf with circles, and curves all over the the place and only 1 house thats a model. The guy that showed me said he has been coming there for 3 years and it has never changed. Their is about a 2 mile track for the first time I was to the edge of my tires it was great  But curves in Florida are far and few between, He was also talking about some roads in the Arcadia area very curvey. Anyone know where he's talking about and is it wirth the trip
so are there any curvy places to ride around there or is it just all straight
They have cloverleaf overpasses on the Interstates... besides that, Most FL rider are on stretched, dropped and blinged out bikes....it justs an FL thing I guess
MITSUFINMGR 12-18-2007, 06:28 PM We don't have alot of curves but we have sweepers and more technical(sp) area's too there just farther apart and if I go to bike night there's is only about 20% that seem to be streched
kill@cj 12-18-2007, 07:17 PM yeah i like the look of stretched and lowered bikes, but it just isn't something i can get into. kinda like i like the look of the new mustangs but i would never own one. i love my curves will def. check some of these places once i get down there.
kill@cj 12-20-2007, 12:59 PM hey how are the bike nights in orlando looking foward to finally going to a good one
fastblkrex 12-20-2007, 01:09 PM  Well...uh okay I guess. There is a bike night in Old Town which is about 20 minutes outside of Orlando, mostly blinged Busa's. Lately we have been going to a Redneck Bar called Jessie Blacks. Cool bar, hot girls but it is manly Harley's. Most of the time the group I ride with goes from gas station to gast station on bike nights:lol: .

scarface007 12-25-2007, 03:03 PM you will not have a problem meeting anyone that rides in mmi , since the marine and the motorcycle building are together . i went to uti 2 years ago and almost 75% of the people there rode .

:lol:Well depends on how cheap you wanna go...you can find some dirt cheap apartments, but I sure as well would not want to live there. You can probably find a descent 1 bedroom for around 500-600 month.

motoxer311 01-13-2008, 01:16 PM Only nice roads I've seen so far with turns are at the track... :D
Ya deff need to go to the track days and beat your bike up legally.. 125 per day but lot cheaper than a speeding ticket plus you'll have fun! I've got pics online of my track days at www.shizzzam.com. We're going back to JenningsGP the 26th and 27th.
Sohcvtec1995 01-19-2008, 06:52 PM Florida= lots aof straight roads with alot of non drivers..
