Moving to Fl

Hey whats up guys just getting ready to move down south a little further to fl. goin to orlando. don't really know what part yet just know i am going to be moving on feb. 15 so are there any curvy places to ride around there or is it just all straight

STAY IN N.C. the roads are so much better, I live in Orlando and the curvy roads are very hard to find. From Orlando you can ride about 1/2 hour out to Clermont that has some nice curvy roads, but not like what is in N.C. Florida is mainly straight flat roads, thats why most of the bikes here are slammed and extended:infrandom

well to tell the truth it is not like i am moving only because i want to. mainly i am moving so i can go to MMI already applied and accepted. so i figure i want to make the best of it maybe once i get down there you can show me some of the places

Just remember to ride as much as you can up there, cause once you get to Florida you will miss the twisties so much, just ask Inferno (another GSXR.com member):lol:

now the really sucky part i am still down with my broken leg so i will probably only have about two weeks to ride up here so i will def. have to come back here and visit the twisties

I was just showed a development that is like a clover leaf with circles,and curves all over the the place and only 1 house thats a model. The guy that showed me said he has been coming there for 3 years and it has never changed. Their is about a 2 mile track for the first time I was to the edge of my tires it was great :thumbup: But curves in Florida are far and few between, He was also talking about some roads in the Arcadia area very curvey. Anyone know where he's talking about and is it wirth the trip :thumbup:

We don't have alot of curves but we have sweepers and more technical(sp) area's too there just farther apart and if I go to bike night there's is only about 20% that seem to be streched :thumbup:

yeah i like the look of stretched and lowered bikes, but it just isn't something i can get into. kinda like i like the look of the new mustangs but i would never own one. i love my curves will def. check some of these places once i get down there.

Cool bar, hot girls but it is manly Harley's. Most of the time the group I ride with goes from gas station to gast station on bike nights:lol: .

Well not moving on Feb. 15 anymore. The freakin cast is not coming off on time so my new tenative moving day is March 1. That is if I get the cast off by Feb. 15. wish me luck guys.:thumbup:

well..... it will be warmer lol yeah definitely a good thing i just want to be moved and done with it. it is going to take a while for me to adjust to big city life/riding. anyways if anyone knows of a cheap apartment to rent let me know still kinda looking into whats down there before i commit to anything. thanks in advance.

You can probably find a descent 1 bedroom for around 500-600 month.

I used to live in Orlando (Rosemont) and worked in Clarmont at Giant Recreation World as a RV mechanic. It sucked. I hated Orlando. Glad I don't live there any more. Good luck with the move.

Only nice roads I've seen so far with turns are at the track... :D Ya deff need to go to the track days and beat your bike up legally.. 125 per day but lot cheaper than a speeding ticket plus you'll have fun! I've got pics online of my track days at www.shizzzam.com. We're going back to JenningsGP the 26th and 27th.

Florida= lots aof straight roads with alot of non drivers..
