ok, i used the search and it was a big help i got the paperclip so i could read the error codes. yesterday it said coo meaning that everything is all good, try to start the bike and well not much success. It would come on and then shut off, numerous times this occurrence happened. today i tried my luck out again, now im getting c23 and c29, stps and tp sensors. I went through with the maual and tried to adjust accordingly however no luck, still bike won't start and i have old ass oil in the engine. by the way it's a 04 750 with a new battery which i bought last night, and my last service was earlier this year. Please let me know what i can do

if it has anything to do with the stva or anything like that u need new throttle body had same thing happen to mine, easier to just replace the throttle bodies. i was gettin same codes also. how is the bike acting, does it not seem to wanna go above certain rpm? makin different noise when u turn key on?

the bike is making some funny sounds, especially from the throttle bodies. It was starting last night but cutting out then when i spend the whole day adjusting my sensor, the bike would not even start once. It's def a pain to sit there and do all the adjustments.

yeah thats the same codes mine was throwing and when i rode it, it didnt go above 9,000, also had noise comin from throttle bodies. its easier to replace throttle bodies, check on here or ebay cause i got one off someone on here for 100 bucks compared to dealer wantin 800 just make sure it includes all the sensors. I hope someone else chimes in in case theres somethin i may be missing

Hi guys...never experienced this, but IMHO it's not the throttle bodies per se...they are simple mechanical devices that don't just "break" across all 4 throttles. This sounds much more like some broken sensor, disconnected/broken/leaking hose, disconnected/broken/corrroded wires. A funny "noise" from throttle bodies would tell me that air is moving through them abnormally...as if the secondary throttles are open when they're not supposed to be for example. Check all hoses and electricals. I know when I'm setting up to adjust throttle bodies and forget to plug or reconnect the right hoses/connectors it does really strange things that seem like what you describe. There are more sensors than the TPS sensors. Faults in them, including TPS's, will mess you up.

yeah its the stva you cant just replace that u have gotta replace the throttle bodies, i had that on mine the sensor only available with throttle bodies, plus it says to never remove the actuator

has the bike been sitting w/o being rode for a while? if so gasoline will START going bad after 2 weeks. so if this is the case drain your tank put fresh gas in... prime the system a couple of times and start up.
