I enjoyed myself. I sat on all the sport bikes i could find. Does anyone know why KTM didn't bring their newest creation or why Aprillia wasn't there? My thoughts/reactions GSXR600/750 - wow. I love these bikes. the riding position seems a little more leaned over tho. GSXR1000- AMAZING. the riding position feels perfect. its just slightly more upright than the 6/750 these feel nice and light perfectly balanced and look SICK Ninja ZX-6 - i didn't like this bike at all. The clutch and gearbox feel terrible and the riding position is just not for me. the foot controls don't feel right at all. Tho i do like the way it looks. nice and sleek. Ninja ZX-14 - Another bike I hated. Tho the clutch needs to be heavy duty due to the power of this bike it doesn't need to feel like it. The styling hasn't improved much unfortunately. I'm just happy there weren't any flames on the paint job R-6 and R-1 These bikes just feel incredible. Perfect throttle/clutch feel. Gearbox was nice. Styling looked good as always. The only thing im not sold on is the tuck position. its very low even with a double bubble. its like hiding behind a twig. Buell - These things feel like toys. which as most of us know they are not! I'm truly terrified of riding these bikes because i know i will loop one. Ducatti 7 - Decent bike nice and light. good throttle feel but I could never deal with the dry clutch. If you can this bikes for you if you can pony up the crazy cash. they bumped up the price this year. I guess they figure if your going to buy a duc in the first place you can afford to pay a little bit more. MV Agusta f4 1000 - This bike is much taller than it looks. This is the only bike i had a problem flat footing. It felt like COG was up higher than most bikes. on a side note galfer had a tent there and they were actually selling themselves. got a good deal got front and back ss kits for $100 total

But, as comfort goes they are not fun to be on at all. The seat is thin and hard, the engine heat is almost unbearable if you get stuck outside when its above 80 out. Forget setting on one in bumper to bumper traffic. The heat under the seat will burn you if your wearing shorts and the clutch is a heavy pull. I do recommend you try one out and see if you get better results than I have. The bikes are known to run very hot and overheat. I think they have a bit of a design flaw with almost no way to get the hot radiators hot air out. The side fairings hug tight against the motor with very small vents right in front of your knees that even have screens on them. They need a big vent in the side like the old Ducati 916 or the new 1098. Don't underestimate thier power though these bikes do pull like trains. I havn't even riden the new 312 yet. L8R, Sterling
