YEAR: 2007 MODEL: gsxr750, GRAY/SILVER ENG SIZE:749cc, 4-stroke, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16-valve PIPES: YOSHI TRC FULL EXHAUST W/ CARBON CAN & EXHAUST WRAPPED SEAT: STOCK WITH CUSTOM LEATHER WRAP WHEELS: STOCK ACCESSORIES: PAINTED TO MATCH HUGGER AND CHAIN GUARD CARBON FIBER FUEL CAP VORTEX SLIDERS CARBON FIBER TANK PROTECTOR HOME-MADE FENDER ELIMINATOR POWER COMMANDER III W/MAP BMC RACE FILTER STORY: My first bike (GSXR600 K1) was stolen after only a month. One year later I bought a clean 01 ZX6R. And after 2 deployments to Iraq which totaled 30 months my beautiful wife had this sitting in my garage when she picked me up from the airport. She said it was the least she could do for what I have done and seen. And she made it the first BRAND NEW vehicle I have ever owned (1.8 miles on the trip). Bike of the month.... maybe, maybe not....but definately front runner for wife of the year!!

That is great to hear and even better that you have such a supportive wife. Last Monday night while I was looking over the site at the 08 GSXR 1000's she said congrats and I was like what do you mean, she said go and get the color you want tomorrow, which I did. Then she said Happy Valentines Day. Not everyman is lucky to have a wife like that, but I see you and I are. Congrats, and Welcome back.

I have spent far too long checking out your bike now. I have come to the conclusion that some grey/silver wheel rim reflectors that run around the outer part of the wheel, would go down a treat for the looks of the bike. Not that it needs much help as its a perfect example of a gixxer! Anyway just a thought... :chucks:

I know how you feel. My wife bought my k6 1000 for me for Christmas. I'm proud to say that I had wife of the year in 06.:) Nice looking bike by the way.

Absolutely love the bike. And I feel 1/5th of your pain in deployments. Only done 1 six month deployment in support of OIF 06-08. I couldn't imagine 30 months. Welcome home! :)

Looks a lot like my K6 600, minus the Yoshi TRC. Props for that beauty
