Lost fellow rider last night in Fort Myers [Archive]

Didn't know him, but woke up this morning to the local news reporting that a man died last night when he rear-ended a blazer and was thrown from his bike. No other details were released, but I did not see any skid marks on the pavement leading up to the stop light. Leaves me wondering how something like this can happen? Alcohol involved?
