usdm420 06-14-2005, 07:35 PM hahaha, funny with the other topic posted in this forum, but as soon as i walked in the dorr from work i flipped on the TV to a 2003 limited R1 (black/red flames) running from the piggs...he got up his speeds so fast they called off ALL ground units and tried following with the copter.
welp, him being smart...he hauled ass down the freeway for miles to a local mall with a HUGE parking lot structure...pulled in, ditched the bike, jacket, helmet....and strolled off scott free before any ground units could get anywhere near the location
now granted it might've been a stolen bike, but to see cops getting bent over was just great
UnFaZeD 06-15-2005, 01:25 AM lmao genius!
see if there is a local newspaper article or anything post it up
Lyte- 06-15-2005, 08:41 AM It happened in LA of couse... I saw the previews on the new briefly but I was busy and couldn't watch it....
Anyways here is the link to the article on msn
Http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8221336
mr_gsxr750 06-15-2005, 08:45 AM was that bike stolen? if it wasnt, why wouldnt the chopper get a pic of the license plate and then they could just show up at the guys place a few days later!
Lyte- 06-15-2005, 08:46 AM And another article
Http:/www.fox11.com/stories/news/motorcyclist_pursuit.asp
MikeyzGixxer 06-15-2005, 09:03 AM was the 3rd pic by west coast choppers?
05GSXR600 06-15-2005, 09:47 AM I also saw it on TV last night. The cops found the bike in the mall, so unless it is stolen I guess they'll catch the rider... :hmmm: It was a nice looking bike...
BallHawk3 06-15-2005, 11:00 AM yea i saw that last nite...funny he was in glendale, i used to work in the mall.
Anyways, shit like this will only make it harder on sport bike riders. See shit like that on the news, cops start crackin down on our asses :2hard
Jackass gets a thumbs down from me.
Go ahead and root for the guy. People like him just make us look bad, you guys can start bitchin' and complaining when you keep on getting pulled over and tickets.
ceeken2000 06-15-2005, 11:03 AM yea i just saw this on the news today....the bike wasn't stolen and the cops found where they guy lived and who he was. They never said that he has been arrested yet...just they know who it is and where he lives...
Vassago 06-15-2005, 01:13 PM Yeah they got him just read it on another forum. They arested him or took him in to custody this morning at 9:30 west coast time. Im on EST time
usdm420 06-15-2005, 01:21 PM i just dont understand why'd you own a custom R1...had chrome rims and exhaust from what i COULD see, probably more...and run from cops if its YOUR bike :headscrat your getting the bike impounded regardless......now if it was stolen, then i totally see why he ran and he WOULD'VE gotten away
what a moron...what also perplexes me is why didn't he lose the 1st ground unit the second the lights came on..why stick around long enough to let him call a chopper in :hmmm: idiot
and 1 more reason i still have my dealer plate on the bike...all my homies know that if they see me on TV running from the cops to immediately call the cops and report my bike stolen and tell them the guy is on tv getting chased

Lyte- 06-15-2005, 03:36 PM Yah I'm gona agree with usdm on this one.. Judging by the actions of him running and ditching the bike I like most rational people thought the bike was stolen and thus the only reason to do something completely retarded like that!
$carface 06-15-2005, 05:10 PM haha i saw that on the internet, but didnt see a vid.
any links w/ vids?
MikeyzGixxer 06-15-2005, 05:54 PM ok guys heres my lil story... about 3 days after i get out the hospital im laying in bed with my girl i hear 3 bikes and a cop car.... so i figure it was a few of my friends(just by luck) .... they where runnin from a statey on the back roads, now mind you that 2 of them just started ridein(know who they were but didnt really hang out with them) and the other was my buddy on a custom R1 been rideing for about 3 years.... long story short my buddy(R1) got away no problem, the other 2 haha, the 1 got BUMPED!!! he STOPED at a stop sign  :laughingr !! the cop got his plate.. i heard them run the plate over the police ch. on my scaner, i called my other freind just to bust balls, he called the 2 that final got away but then got lost!!! , they then went to the police station to report the bike stolen.... the cop 100% id them to the T....the dumb ass's never even changed cloths...

clearly your friends are complete idiots! they deserve what they get for not using their heads to begin with....
Lyte- 06-15-2005, 07:11 PM haha they some kin of the dude in the police report
pmhallum 06-15-2005, 09:07 PM http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8235599/
here's the end of the story
Lyte- 06-15-2005, 10:06 PM haha i was just about to post that!
MikeyzGixxer 06-16-2005, 07:12 AM lol MY friend got away(he had no insure), the other 2 dumb ass's that got BUMPED had no reason to run but to try to make a name for them self... there probly the guys brothers
skibum91 06-16-2005, 09:08 AM Its retards like that, that give us a bad name, dumbass has a warrant, and 2 suspended licenses.
97gsx-r600- 06-16-2005, 09:10 AM i wonder if he would have gotten away if he didnt purchase the hat at the mall. ie he didnt use his credit card to buy it, otherwise i think he would have been scott free as long as mall camera's couldnt take a picture of his face. :headshake
Dstrbd GSXR 06-16-2005, 11:12 AM i wonder if he would have gotten away if he didnt purchase the hat at the mall. ie he didnt use his credit card to buy it, otherwise i think he would have been scott free as long as mall camera's couldnt take a picture of his face. :headshake
Yah.. except if he ever wanted to ride again he would have to go borrow it from the impound yard at the police station. But I am sure he would perfer to sit in jail instead.
Lyte- 06-16-2005, 12:49 PM Yah the buying the shit at the mall seconds after you just hop off the bike the cops where chasing with your credit card was not smart at all... If anything he should have went in the mall and called his friend to pick him up. Wait a couple hours till the cops called him to tell them they had his bike and act stupid and claim to have not gone home yet so he didn't know it was stolen yet... Of course he still would have had to explain why the ignition wasn't busted.... But that could have been explained away with an inside job......
The reason he has 2 suspended license is because he had 1 license under his real name and another one under a fake one.. Which I assume was suspended for speeding both times... I assume the warrent for speeding was really a warrent for failure to show to court on a speeding ticket.. Haha ask ball and fishy(lshybrid195) about that... They know all about it
gixxer601 06-22-2005, 11:37 AM i had a cop telling me the best way to get away if theres a helicopter on you is to go into an airport since its restricted air space the cant follow. if you park the bike and hang out for a few hours you should be good
UnFaZeD 06-22-2005, 02:14 PM i had a cop telling me the best way to get away if theres a helicopter on you is to go into an airport since its restricted air space the cant follow. if you park the bike and hang out for a few hours you should be good

OOOOO Like Gone in 60 Seconds!!!! That movie RULES, but last time I checked the airport is starting to have better security then the city.
usdm420 06-22-2005, 02:57 PM actually cops can get special clearance if they give the airport a heads up...it just takes a minute
skibum91 06-22-2005, 03:24 PM i had a cop telling me the best way to get away if theres a helicopter on you is to go into an airport since its restricted air space the cant follow. if you park the bike and hang out for a few hours you should be good
Yea, but they cops can get more people and do a search of the airport.
Dstrbd GSXR 06-22-2005, 04:24 PM Yea, but they cops can get more people and do a search of the airport.
Or think that you're a terrorist and pull a Team America stunt on you. I cast a Jihad on you!!!

Yea, i think ditchin the chopper is the least of your worries if you go into the airport though. I thought about ground support after i posted it.

bikerxl 08-02-2005, 09:08 AM I would never leave my bike behind no matter what.
A fastag from www.mannsmotorsports.com will help too.
Marvin Willis 08-06-2005, 06:30 PM my brother and i were riding down a local street a couple of weeks ago and we decided to get on it a little and before i knew it i was doing 150 when i got home i took my helmet off and i saw blue lights against the wall of my house so i turn around and here comes my bro with a cop right behind him i was expecting to go to jail and it turnes out he couldnt get the radar gun on us so we got a warning for doing 150 in a 45
stackle2 09-14-2005, 11:49 AM Wow, guess I am lucky, here in the backwoods of west virginia, we have a shit ton of po, but, as you all know from movies like wrong turn and deliverance, we are all related....no, but really, the sherriff is my cousin, so I get out of a lot of shit here. Last place I rode was autobahn towards frankfurt germany...lot of po there too, and they will beat the shit out of you if they ever actually feel like p :thefinger ulling you over...
ballstothewall 09-20-2005, 08:27 AM Mwhahhah. I love it when people run and get away. It makes my day.
Dirty-GSXR 09-20-2005, 12:50 PM My best bud is a cop and his tip for me is to run if you are in the city or on the freeway (with some traffic), I'm sure we all speed a little. Usually cops know they don't have the slightest chance if you got a head start. Most of the time the central dispatch will call off the chase if it lasts past 10 -15 min. They don't want to put by-standers in danger (which is something everyone who tries to make a get away should consider). If in the suburbs, you should just pull over cause they will get you. And if you pull over before they catch up to you, they will just give you a warning most of the time. A lot of cops ride too, they can speed and don't get tix. Unless you are like the dumbass with warrants and suspended licenses, they will hunt you down like dinosaurs on dinner.
But I definitely agree with everyone else on this forum about not giving riders a bad name. If you like to ride and cruise with friends or alone (I believe most of us do), wouldn't it be a pain in the ass if every single cop or every other cop pulls you over just because some young dumb riders tries to be stupid, break laws and can't make the get away; so they assume majority of riders are adrenalin freaks and law breakers that should be checked.
standman4320 09-20-2005, 02:46 PM that is hilarious, if its not stolen, he is done for
SimmCity 12-01-2005, 10:16 AM i had a cop telling me the best way to get away if theres a helicopter on you is to go into an airport since its restricted air space the cant follow. if you park the bike and hang out for a few hours you should be good
yeah that gets you away from the bird but all he has to do is call in ground units to the airport and your bike and your ass is busted!! You can out run the cops but you can't out run the radio. It only gives you a bad name if you are in on it. IF you are legal in every way then when the Police pull you over for doing nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about but a lil lost time. If you don't want to take the chance of doing the time Then don't do the crime.
rrash 12-01-2005, 11:26 AM the will catch him next time :laughingr
Mister Tee 12-01-2005, 12:25 PM It doesn't even take a minute for a helicopter to get clearance through airport airspace, and they have a good place to land. ATC will give priority to police aircraft.
If it were me on the R1, I would have headed for the nearest Yamaha dealer, parked it next to a bunch of other bikes, bought a new helmet and jacket of a different color, and rode off.
SimmCity 12-01-2005, 04:11 PM If you are good, you could just get away from the car and if you get away good enough you wouln't have to worry about the bird. Just loose the car quick enough and get away from the area. Get to an area that has trees and you can just park it and chill. If you go to a parking garage you are basically trapped.
Vince 12-13-2005, 11:13 PM This reminds me of something that happened a couple of years ago. I happen to be a police officer and don't really mess with motorcyclists since I ride.........but a friend of mine who was in my academy chased a motorcycle one day........like I said this was about 2 years ago. He tried to stop him for speeding (up on one wheel of course), but the guy took off like a bat out of hell on a Kawi Zx-9. He chased him for about a mile or so before he completely lost sight of him. My buddy figured the guy was long gone so he just turned around to head back towards our district. A few minutes later we responded to an accident where that squid on the Kawi had t-boned a mini-van at 110 mph. The mini-van he hit was a family of three..........a guy, his wife, and 8 month old baby in the back seat in a car seat. The 8 month old was killed instantly. Of course the guy on the Kawi was killed.......the guy driving the mini-van had serious injuries but was conscious on the scene.............the wife had to be life flighted to Duke Medical Center..........she pulled through after numerous operations and will be in pain for the rest of her life.........but their new baby daughter was dead.......nothing we could do. Probably the saddest thing I've seen as a cop............and there were pumpkins in the back of the mini-van that the family had just gotten for Halloween. The ironic part is this............my buddy told me that he hadn't even planned on writing the guy on the kawi a ticket, he was just going to tell him to slow down and keep 2 wheels on the ground. Not trying to knock any of you guys, but please be careful and don't do anything stupid. Alot of cops ride bikes, and if you just pull over and have a good attitude, you'd be surprised how many tickets you'll get out of. Sorry to tell you such a horrible story, but if it will make you guys think and maybe make a different decision in the future, it's worth it. I'd hate to see any of you guys get hurt or killed. Take care fellas.
SimmCity 12-13-2005, 11:28 PM That is sad. I won't run if I didn't do anything wrong. I was just saying that it would be cool to do it one time but with out the reprocussions.
lebron 12-14-2005, 01:26 PM that must b true about the attitude thing as well as aknowleging the fact that u were screwin up the second they light by lettin out & not giving the impression that ur going 2 haulass.because that is what get them n kick ass mode from the begining.POLICE SUCK!!!!! :twofinger
lebron 12-14-2005, 01:30 PM BY THE WAY wher is that speedin enforced by aircraft @ ?????
wRiSTSnaP 12-15-2005, 10:11 AM Im not saying that i havnt thought of running but the one time that i did get pulled over i was already stoped and it was too late... smart cops..anyway the cop was cool and let me go only because he lived right behind me. moral of this story is that this guy is right just bullshit with them and most of the time they will let you go... O and i had no lisence, no insurance, and i was doing 165 in an 50mph zone. I guess you can say i got lucky but interesting way to meet your neighbor.
AZ_Gixxer1000 12-25-2005, 10:54 PM i had a cop telling me the best way to get away if theres a helicopter on you is to go into an airport since its restricted air space the cant follow. if you park the bike and hang out for a few hours you should be good
um, I did this.... didn’t work. the helicopter followed me right into the airport. I ditched the bike in the parking garage and waited FOREVER the cops never left so I called my GF for a ride home.
A few hours later the cops showed up at my house and I was like “no officer my bike is in the garage right where I left it” of course I knew better and as soon as I opened the door. HOLY CRAP my bike was gone.
In the end, as much as I hated to do it I would rather walk away from the bike than 100% for sure go to jail. :2hard
AZ_Gixxer1000 12-25-2005, 11:22 PM Alot of cops ride bikes, and if you just pull over and have a good attitude, you'd be surprised how many tickets you'll get out of.
Here is another one I’ve tried..... I even got pulled over by a motorcycle cop once for going 60 in a 45! I thought for sure I could talk my way out of that one. I was like so how do you like your KZ1000 (stand police issued bike)
He says "I like it just fine". :headscrat
Nice answer, so I probed "what other kind of bike do you ride?" I figured anyone who has a job riding motorcycles has to be an enthusiast right?
He says, "I don’t have any other bikes I don’t need any"
Going no place fast. I explained I was simply accelerating to get out of another cars blind spot (surly he has been cut off before and can appreciate that logic)
He says that the posted speed was 45 not 46 or 62 in my case.
$200 ticket
Heck I even went to court to fight it. (I lost) :thefinger
In the end it is a sad story but no different if a guy robbed a bank and ran over a kid in a crosswalk who was on his way home from school as he was trying to get away from the cops. If that happened the media would be all over why they should have not chassed him in the first place.
I have pulled over to many times when I could have / should have gotten away.
Now I have just two rules don’t run if I’m carrying a passenger or if I don’t think I can get away. (bad weather, dont know the area, etc.)
So far me and my GSXR1000 are 8 for 8 and two involved the eye in the sky! :funny:
I don’t drink, smoke, lie, cheat or steal. So let me ride my bike and leave me ALONE.
highwaybruiser 12-26-2005, 05:25 AM I only do the runner if I'm pretty sure I've got the upper hand, like if they couldn't have seen my plate, if they're going the other way or are stationary when I go past, and I know I've got enough fuel on board to get where I'm going. So far, so good. 2 from 2 on the Hayabusa, 3 from 3 in my old Mazda Rx-7 many years ago, and once in Mum's 626!
If I figure the odds are against me, I pull over straight away & have my license ready for them. Touch wood, I havent copped a ticket in 9yrs.
allthatflash 01-01-2006, 12:44 PM I have only out ran the cops 2 times in my life. Once I was comng back from Azusa Canyon after a good ride taking some corners. I got pulled over by CHP, I stopped left the bike running and got off the bike. I pretended to undo my helmet and once I saw the car door close behind the officer I jump on my bike a took off like a bat out of hell. I drove for about 3 miles on the freeway got off made a couple of rights and lefts untill I ended up at a 7-11 where I played video games for about 1/2 hour then went home I took the streets thou. The second time was in Alhambra with my girl in the back. again I slowed and when they least expected I took off. I floored it made a couple of lefts and rights I ended in a condo complex where we got off took all of our stuff off and stash it behind the dumpster. We jumped in the pool and pretended we were residence of the complex, again no problems. Now last week I was pulled over by West Covina PD I pulled over in TGIF parkig lot after bike night in La Puente. I have the rookie my lic, ins all that stuff and paper work on my new K5 GSXR. That MoF had the odasity to walk to my bike and bent the shit out of my licence plae holder, cuz it was at a slight angle and he could not read it from the unit. He said he has to be able to read it from 300 ft. Me being pissed said to him probably couldn't read a regular car plate at 300 FT. well I got a ticket for passing on the right of a vehicle. Oh well shit happens, but I should of jumped on the freeway and blew their doors off. ASSHOLES

Yeah some cops will write you a citation no matter what...........most of the guys I work with are pretty cool, though. Me and the guys on my squad have a little deal............You see, I'm the only guy on my squad that wasn't in the military,............well one night I had a soldier stopped for DWI......he wasn't real trashed, but he was legally impaired so I was gonna take him in. One of my guys pulled up to check in with me and figured out that the guy was in the miltary..........He told me this arrest would fukk up his military career. So my buddy convinced me to let the soldier call someone to pick him up from the scene instead of arresting him...............Well I told my buddy that he had to start letting bike riders go with verbal warnings from now on. So thats the little deal we have. The bottom line really is, that you know what you are and aren't supposed to do on public roads, so why get pissed at the cops when you get a ticket for something YOU did? Cops will never go away because we as a society demand police protection on our highways and local streets. Don't speed and drive like a fool, and you won't get a ticket.......period........drive like a fool and maybe you'll get lucky and a cool cop like me will let you go  ..........it's your gamble. Anyways, take care and be safe

just not getting the first one, when a cop pulls u over he usually runs plates before he gets out of the car, so u just jumped back on and rode off and he never got a plate number :headscrat just doesnt make since
BallHawk3 01-19-2006, 01:45 PM just not getting the first one, when a cop pulls u over he usually runs plates before he gets out of the car, so u just jumped back on and rode off and he never got a plate number :headscrat just doesnt make since
not all the time! Most of the time they don't. The only time they'll run plates is if your barely going faster than traffic, the cop will be a dick, get behind you follow u, run plates, then pull you over saying your going 1mph faster than the speed limit.
But usually a cop will light you up fast! Especially if your on a motorcycle, they never run plates. The minute they see you do something wrong, they are lighting you up and pull you over asap.
The times i've gotten a ticket, no one has ever ran my plates, hell they don't even check registration. Only once did a cop actually sit in the car and run my plates then come out to talk to me.
skibum91 01-20-2006, 09:02 AM just not getting the first one, when a cop pulls u over he usually runs plates before he gets out of the car, so u just jumped back on and rode off and he never got a plate number :headscrat just doesnt make since
That doesn't mean he had a plate on the bike, and if he did he probably had it bent so they couldn't see it.
allthatflash 01-20-2006, 11:35 AM just not getting the first one, when a cop pulls u over he usually runs plates before he gets out of the car, so u just jumped back on and rode off and he never got a plate number :headscrat just doesnt make since
The way I set my plate you have to be standing right behind the bike to see it.The angle is great behind and over the bake but in a cop car you can't see crap after 5 ft. in this incedent the bike was still new and had no plates.
allthatflash 01-20-2006, 11:38 AM That doesn't mean he had a plate on the bike, and if he did he probably had it bent so they couldn't see it.
We all have little secrets here and there to prolong having our plates from being read while on the move till you really pull over and suffer the wrath.
Matts05gix 01-20-2006, 01:25 PM just asking i keep my plate under rear cowl
Engloid 01-20-2006, 09:01 PM A cop can call in your tag number before you stop, then have the results back within seconds. You really can't say that they didn't call in the plates AFTER they pulled you over.
In my state, anything you do to make the plates difficult to read can get you a ticket. I had a friend that went years without washing his plates. He'd wash everything else, but not the plate. Eventually, he got pulled over for it.
It's seen the same as a tinted license plate cover... you can't legally bend your plate in a way that makes it harder to read. I don't think a cop or a judge will buy the story when you say, "You can see it if you're standing within 5 feet."
highwaybruiser 01-22-2006, 03:28 AM Lean forward, stretch your right foot back along the tail fairing and bend your ankle so your foot covers the plate, then just crank it through those gears, baby!
allthatflash 01-24-2006, 12:04 AM I just got behind my bike and I got about 15ft in my car from my bike till I could actually and distinctly read my plate. I was using 5ft as a point not actual pin point measurement. And he still should have tried to bend the fuck out of the brackets. I could careless if he could read my plate a mile away, he should not have touch the bike in his profession.
allthatflash 01-24-2006, 12:09 AM Actually it is not a car it is my dodge truck so a cop would probably need to be closer since they sit lower. :hmmm:
SimmCity 01-24-2006, 03:50 AM Yeah some cops will write you a citation no matter what...........most of the guys I work with are pretty cool, though.
Good deal. love it.

i just think that cops need to quit making traffic laws their main form of enforcement. there's much worse things than someone who fails to use their turn signal, or is going 10 mph over the speed limit.
why do they do this? they need money. they don't get $150 everytime they find a murderer or track down a crack dealer.
in Europe, you rarely see cops sitting on the side of the road...usually, you only see them somewhere with their lights on, already doing their job. they are taxed well enough from the people, to where they do not have to meet a 'quota' for the month.
Shaneomac 01-26-2006, 05:34 PM No offense but to each his own. I was riding Saturday with a friend all day we were racing around wheelies 150 mph on the hiway yada yada well the day was over headed home at traffic speed and a bike flys past us in thick traffic. Cop comes up from the emergency lane and nails my buddy said they were together. I was to the left of him doing 85 he gets a ticket for 105 in a 65. Damn kid was 20yrs old and probably still sucking mom's tit. Them bitches that ticket you are just pissed they dont have one. :2hard

actually no thats not true. Maybe in your state. But cops "patrol." They aren't on the street to "give tickets" unless of course, its highway patrol cause I think thats all Highway patrol does, cruise the highways to give tickets and help out broken down cars. But for example, LAPD itself, no cops aren't on the road to give out as many tickets as they can. Now if he's a "traffic cop" those guys are out there to give tickets. You can normally tell if he's a traffic cop cause he has the traffic badge or "wings" on the sides of is uniforms. Those guys are out to give tickets.
But normally cops are supposed to be out patrol, if they catch someone breakin' a "traffic law" sure why not. But yes alot of cops have nothing better to so they'll sit and wait to give out tickets and shit like that while they could be out doing "better" things. But normally a cop won't give u a ticket and just give you a warning, because, he's not out on patrol just to give out tickets, you just happened to be doing something wrong. Of course unless he's a dick and has nothing better to do. But if you get pulled over by a cop on "traffic duty" your getting a ticket, pretty much no way you can talk yourself outta one.
But cops get paid hourly. Not by how many tickets they give out. And if they do a "good" job they move up in rank= more money, for example earning strips or moving up to sergant. They get a big chunk of there pay is from overtime. Depending on what shifts you take, if you take the long 12 hour shifts, they normally work 3 to 4 days outta the week and get the rest off. Overtime includes working more than 8 hours straight of course, working holidays and of course, going to court (to fight tickets blah blah blah) if the court date is on there day off.
But yea, a lot of cops need find better things to do than to just give out tickets, if they actually did "good" they'd be doing better for themselves and earning more money. Dunno if any of you guys noticed, but the cops that always give me tickets are the ones with no strips, and the biggest dickheads "crooked" cops got no strips.
hassan-darazi 02-15-2006, 11:28 AM well that was really funny :laughingr
and you gotta see the cops over here they are so stupid they wait for us to park & come over asking for the papers & when they check everything out they just leave, and some of them ask us to wheelie & do some stuff, after all they are all just young guys seeking nice stuff

so what does the township due when cops have only issued 10 tickets for the month of feb.??? :headscrat
chisox7858 02-21-2006, 11:00 AM then how do the know the cops arent dickin around all day doin nothin? do the traffic cops at least have one?
I dont know about you guys but I'm glad we have police and etc.. God forbid anyone of us ever have to call 911, but it sure is a comforting feeling knowing that someone is coming to help in your time in need. Yea sure there are dick heads out there that have nothing better to do, but guess what guys & gals, they can say the same thing about us. And i'm no saint. I'm just as guilty as the next guy. But if your breaking the law and you get caught, grow a pair and accept responsibilty. Now as for descrimination against riders, i hear you. But i really think that just comes with the territory. How can you not discriminate when we go by in a blur, and we all pretty much look alike? It's bullshit, but that's where a good attorney comes in :D But hey that's just me. The occasional trip to light speed is fun, but i just enjoy to ride.
gimpsta 02-21-2006, 03:48 PM haah if u all laugh at cops for this, and root for the guy - your all a bunch of dumbass squids and need to find yourself a bi-cycle. A motor-cycle is just to grown up for you and your asses definitly don't need any grown up toys. Its again people like you as to why we pay higher insurance, get a bad name, more DEATHS on bikes due to pissed off cagers from irrespectable riders (as yourself). So as you contemplate thinking what my purpose in life, its never to own or ride a motorcycle again till I for one can handle it correctly, listen to the laws set before me, and respect those other riders who have the decency to try to do the same.
Its probably people like some of you supporting this who also are the ones ripping through cars splitting traffic on the freeway, and attempting your lame ass wheelies on 4 lanes of freeway. I take great pride in describing your bikes complete make up, your apparel, and what/where you doing, to the cops. Right from the comfort of my car, or pulled over on my cell if I'm on my bike
now - mature by all means

lane sharing/splitting is legal in myspace btw....And its a lot safer than sitting in traffic. You got a lot more to risk if your not going slighty faster than the flow of traffic.

and gosh I hope your not serious about that. Wasting all that time and money to call and pretty much "complain" about some biker on the freeway thats "speeding." What is this, grade school? You think cops really are immediately gonna send a unit to go after that biker? Nope, the operator will prob just laugh and think your some kookie old man. Come on now.
And get off your cellphone while driving.
gimpsta 02-21-2006, 09:29 PM well in Texas its not - and being a rider of 4yrs and as with only TD's/twisties on my mind I think I can hold my own witha motorcycle. Meaning I appreciate the sport and respect it, unlike many others. So anywhere I live I'm going to know if its legal or not before I call.
And I'm hardly going to call for speeding. I would suggest reading the COMPLETE paragraph. If your ass is doing stupid squid looking wheelies all over the place on MY freeway then I'll have your tag # and ID all over my report to the officer. And yes, you can get a ticket for a citizen pressing charges. Its not that hard to report where your heading and to get any radio message sent forward of your position - I've seen it done. You do a freaken wheelie so what - I could careless. I'm talking about 15 of you guys split up on 4 lanes of freeway with 3 or 4 of you riding standups at 15mph below the speedlimit and blocking traffic. Then another 3 or 4 of you humping the tank trying to look like the 3 or 4 up front but your all over the freeway like water in hott grease. If you want to stunt GO FOR IT. I have nothing wrong with it. But stay off MY freeways & neighborhoods.
gimpsta 02-21-2006, 09:32 PM  and damn you are so late on this.
well i'm probably late on this, because this site has less interest to me since there seems to be more squids here than serious riders. but I come in from time to time, hopeing to spread a little of respect for the sport, before some new guy starts taking to your immature ways.

nice if this site has no interest to you then don't come back. Obviously you failed to read every post in this thread. Nor do you know a damn thing about me. I feel the same way you do, so do many others but you failed to see that cause you prob didn't read all the posts. But instead you come on this thread acting all high and mighty by putting down other members.
And keep that mouth shut. You don't know a fucking thing about anyone else on here or what kinda people they are. So I suggest you show a little respect towards people instead of coming in here talking all that trash about people you don't know a friggin' thing about. Your assumptions are totally off.
04StreetGSXR 02-22-2006, 12:45 PM so gimpsta, since you are such a law abiding citizen, you hace never done a wheelie on public roads, driven 5 mph over the speed limit, or even ran through a stop sign or red light!! I highly fucking doubt this unless you can prove it stfu!
Matts05gix 02-22-2006, 01:14 PM Where is your Freeway Located? Is it named after you? Did you pay for it? What its name Dipshit Hwy. Give me a break dude go away. We all pay taxes and im sure I pay alot more than your ass, so guess what fuck your so called roads. Ban him just for being so damn dumb.
Matts05gix 02-22-2006, 01:25 PM I think he is same Gimpsta thats a fuck tard on Gixxer.com. Him and that Jimmy2times dude need a fucking life, love to ride with them. :laughingr

I didn't know you owned the freeways... I know its also not illegal for bikers to ride helmet less in texas since 99% of the rides ride around with min gear if at all... We can only hope your one of them
gimpsta 02-22-2006, 02:32 PM well I've easily been proven my point - a room full of squids.
1 - what the heck does a helmet law have to do with it? many states don't require it kid. And every state has its people with flip flops and shorts with wife beaters only.
2 - ball hawk: I don't have to READ all the posts. I read the first few pgs, and responded to the squid who started it and anyone supporting it, or anyone willing to support this in the future. Maybe if you took two seconds to engage your brain you could understand that and see that. No comments were ever pointed at you till you opened your mouth and tried to be argumentative.
3- 04streetgsxr: when your feeble mind can think beyond someone going over 5mph equating to holding up traffic weaving in/out of 5 lanes of freeway to "practice" there little wheelie routine - let me know. Otherwise stfu kid.
4 - Matt: if your on the same road I"m on, your on MY road. Meaning, your endangering my life and anyone around. Plus your ruining a sport I love and you blemish. And no you couldn't ride with me - you couldn't keep up, nor would I ride with squids wasting my time :)
gimpsta 02-22-2006, 02:39 PM you all will continue to stay on the squid side of the fence until you learn to grow up and mature. Go to a track sometime - have a buddy show you a parking a lot to stunt. Go out to some country road with minimal traffic if you must.
anyone willing to run/stupid stunts on major roads/or support it: should have their bikes taken, license revoked, and enjoy some nice jail time for even a ONE time offense.

first off i do not endager any else life other than mine. 2nd who the hell do you think you are?????? since when have you become above the law. You also want to call everyone kid, who the fuck are you to determine our maturity level. you think you are the only one that loves this sport go fuck yourself. we are here to share what we enjoy then we get some dumbass that start ignorant responses to maybe not the smartest thread started. But one thing that i do see in common with the people on this thread....."NO ONE IS ON YOUR SIDE"
And i dont remember any of us saying that its ok for people to do wheelies 15 mph under the speed limit. Than again when is it ok for old people who can barely see to drive 15 mph under the posted speed limit!

keep your comments to yourself. How about that? I don't appricate anyone coming on this forum and bashing our members. I don't give a shit if your comments weren't directed specifically towards a person or names, you still need to change your attitude. Theres better ways to express your opinion.
I don't agree with most people on this forum. But I get along with them. I don't come out calling them a retard, immature or squid. I could careless for stunting. And it blows my mind that some people don't ride canyons. But doesn't matter its there own thing, and I still respect them as a person.
R-gressive 02-22-2006, 02:53 PM to each his own is what i always say.
and if you dont like it
oh well
get over it
i did
Lyte- 02-22-2006, 03:09 PM I'll take you calling me a kid as a complement seeing how old I am so thank you....
And I only brought up the lack of helmet laws in california because you brought up spliting/ lane shareing as it was illegal... I was pointing out the fact that it is illegal there doesn't mean it is illegal else where.... So your generalized statement didn't really have the meaning you ment for it to have.
I also pointed out the fact that I have noticed that 99% of the riders in texas ride with total disregard for what gear is. They ride around in flip flops wife beaters and shorts... Some with out helmets on top of that.... I have yet to see someone other then in texas ride like that and I travel around quite a bit... In fact I will be back in texas early next month... We can meet and further discuss this if you don't mind hanging out with a "kid" after I do the final walk through of my home there....
Imagine that a kid/ squid buying a home.. How odd and responsible of me huh
gimpsta 02-22-2006, 04:35 PM well i've been in San Francisco, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, and Las Vegas.
sorry seen people riding in about nothing in all 3 places. In fact the crew I met up with here in Texas shocked me by how many of them wore full leathers just for street rides. So the comments of "people in X can't drive, or people riding in X don't wear gear" doesn't fly. People percieve what they want when they want.
as far as my comment on lane splitting - if YOU'D please just acknowledge you know I'm correct but I'll further point it out... splitting cars when its NOT legal as in many states is exactly what you know I was referring to. You think i'd make a big deal about it if it wasn't? And I was referring to splitting cars as in blowing through them as many do. Lane splitting has strict stipulations and speeds where what I was referring to was none of it.
I'll be at MSR-Houston from time to time, go there and ride - as well as many other CMRA tracks. You might find me there if you want to actually come up and shake my hand and introduce yourself. Your about the only one who might have common sense, but I can't see why your even commenting about it at all. I'm leaving Texas here in about a week anyhow
Ballhawk - if your going to keep making dumbass comments - make sense.
I'll put down/bash/slam/get frustrated with any punk ass who wants to act like the people who started this stupid thread. If you have a problem with it because they are "members" then you've got a lot to learn. If it bothers you to as what I said, yet you support it then why are you even commenting? Do you agree with fleeing? Do you agree with police getting stricter with traffic violations? Do you like people pulling stunts all over a busy major freeway? If not then WHAT R U DOING?
Its still seems really odd to me that you claim to support my comments for those running from the police, yet you started this whole internet back and forth drama. Might want to re-read the posts and see whose really making the ass of himself. ;)
PM me if you have anything else interesting to say - I've made my point. If you didn't get it now, you'll either get it later. either with your life or your check book. Think before you enter the streets and think you own them with stunts or with buzzing traffic or fleeing.
I can only argue for so long - to many of you sit behind your computer and go back and forth because its the only place you'll man up.
gimpsta 02-22-2006, 04:36 PM I didn't know you owned the freeways... I know its also not illegal for bikers to ride helmet less in texas since 99% of the rides ride around with min gear if at all... We can only hope your one of them
don't forget - Texas actually only has a partial helmet law - not full

Its still seems really odd to me that you claim to support my comments for those running from the police, yet you started this whole internet back and forth drama. Might want to re-read the posts and see whose really making the ass of himself. ;)
PM me if you have anything else interesting to say - I've made my point. If you didn't get it now, you'll either get it later. either with your life or your check book. Think before you enter the streets and think you own them with stunts or with buzzing traffic or fleeing.
I can only argue for so long - to many of you sit behind your computer and go back and forth because its the only place you'll man up.
ok mr. high and mighty. You come on here attacking people, which is what I saw your post as. Why to bring a thread back from the dead and the point that the guy who ran is a dipshit, makes sportbikers look bad I think has been made quite some time ago.
Plain and simple, there are other ways to express your opinion, if you wanna, do it in a "mature" way. You got a fucked up attitude, and I found your orginal post amusing. You just sounded like some arrogant prick to me. Or you just enjoy the attention, you had to go in and show the world how much of a tough guy and better person you are. Damn you sound sexually frustrated. Its ok man its ok.
but since you don't post much and your previous posts aren't bad except for say this one, plus the fact i like your bike...I'll let it slide. I'll pretend this never happened cause i'm sick of getting pissed off by new members with bad attitudes. I don't wanna hear anymore of this bullshit. Next time, express you opinions in mature and "non-threatening" way.
FuzioN 02-22-2006, 05:56 PM why is it every time i log onto gsxr.com this thread is always in the New Posts section.. lol im sick of seeing "Cops REALLY cant catch motorcyclist" up there!

fuck dude...r you retarded or something. Did i get on your back for saying your a fuckhead for thinking its stupid to run from cops? No, I got on your case for your fucked up attitude. There are other ways to express your opinion instead of resorting to calling someone a dumbass. Yea I agree with you, but I didn't like your attitude or the way you posted. I thought it was funny and then you replied talking about a board full of squids immature people etc etc. If your into "spreading your knowledge" then fucking do it, not coming out and saying your fuckheads, etc etc. Great way to educate my friend. No I don't agree with people running from cops. But I never said fuck you, fuckheads, squids to those who are rooting for this guy. No I did it in a different manner. So will you pleeeeeeeeeease shut the fuck up now. This isn't about is it cool or not to run from the cops. No one will listen to your ass with an attitude like that.
98srad750 02-23-2006, 07:07 PM why is this thread still going on?? more then 6 months?? :plzdie:
