2006 GSXR 600 Oil Quarts

How many quarts of oil w/ new oil filter?

2.6 quarts, just put in 2.5 cause its easy to measure. Start the bike let it warm up, ride around the block. Then recheck with it balanced to make final additions. Its more a little here and theere than a science, just don't over fill cause it take time for it to seep down to the sight glass...:thumbup:

What is a quart in liters because when i check it out is says one quart is .97 liters and my 600 takes 3.4 liters roughly?
