dropped it on the kickstand

turning around on the kickstand, right hand on the swingarm, left hand bars, got the thing all the way around and then the kickstand collapsed and the thing fell onto me. Bar end in the leg but nothing on the bike touched the ground, bikes fine, legs bruised, and the cute girls just laughed at me.

What i always do when i swing my bike around like that is put my foot on the base of the kickstand to ensure it won't do that...but sorry to hear about that infront of the ladies :lol:

lol, nah, the ugly ones laughed to, and then went back to the ugly stores. And yeah, I had both wheels in the air with all the weight on the kickstand, I've learned from this though, hopefully won't do it again

I have seen a few dudes do that in South Beach..........looks like a good way to drop your bike showing off. Looks kool though.............but I will pass on that one........... unless somebody let's me practice with their bike... :lol:

use your foot to chock the stand...it wont buckle on you. But yes, I saw 3 guys do it in Daytona.

I always do and never have a problem; however I can only turn her around towards the left; for example I will have my left hand on the left grip and my right hand on the right side of the frame under the seat and swing her towards me. Now I can't do it the other way. Does anyone know how or what I might be doing wrong ?
