Can anyone help me out??? I am trying to figure out what type of oil to use in my bike. I have just bought this from a friend and he never took care of bike. So I am fixing it up and it needs an oil change can you guys help? What type should I use? Thanks

Do whatever you need to do to procure a copy of your bike's owner's manual and/or the service manual, since both will tell you the correct viscosity of oil to use, and the minimum grade, as well as other necessary service items besides oil. And the oil needs to be a motorcycle specific oil, although automotive oils can be used if they do not contain anti-friction additives, which have been known to cause slippage in wet clutches.
