Just got down to Houston for work and although this city is the size of Rhode Island I can't find anyone to ride with... Who is in this area? Are there any local bike nights that I should check out? Thank you :D

Check the South West Region area! Texas is considered in the South West. If I was home in Houston, I'd ride with ya! But, I'm stuck in Iraq and stationed in NY! Keep the rubber down and enjoy the Texas weather! I miss it and would love to be able to ride year round!

Wazzup Dirty? The only place that I know of that has a few bikes on a regular basis is on 146 at the Super Target by Kemah. It's mainly a car show, but sometimes there a re a lot of bikes. I live in Dickinson which isn't far from there. Depending on WHERE you are in Houston, it could be far from you or not..

I know that when I was around 20 (I'm 43 now) or so, Westheimer was a pretty happening place We used to cruise down there on our bikes every weekend, but I don't think that there's much of anything going out there anymore except maybe around some of the clubs or something.

I have recently joined an awesome riding group here in houston, they are a great bunch of people I haven't got to ride with them yet (bike in shop) but I chatted with a couple ppl and they all seem really friendly and helpful... We have weekly rides! :) Here's a link to the meet up http://www.meetup.com/HOUSTONGIXXERS/?a=wm1_gn

Hey 07gsxr750.......... Send me an e-mail (phoenix5922@yahoo.com). I'm a member of another group in your area that meets a LOT! I don't wanna thread jack or promote another site here. That would be wrong. There are a lot of guys right around the corner from you that hang out and ride. I live in Bay Colony at the corner of 646 and 517, another guy lives in the apartments on 517 and 646, another couple of us live right behind O'Reilley's on 517, one of us lives in Santa Fe near you and another lives right behind Bay Colony Elementary School on 646. We'd love to have you hang out with us. The more the merrier!
