01 1000 oil change

so i just bought an 01 1000 and changed the oil today...calls for 3 liters ...had to put a little more in to get good level but my question is i noticed for the first time that when running there is absolutely nothing on the site glass...now i never made an effort to look on any of my other bikes if this happens just randomly looked at it when it was idling...guessing its normal but wanted to throw it out there....

Correct. You have to check the oil level when the engine is off, standing straight up (not on the side stand) and after it has had a few minutes to drain down a bit.

I knew to check it off and level just never actually looked at it while running. Another question is why is the repsol oil so crappy. Like what about it makes it hard to start the bike?

Don't know, I guess you would have to ask Repsol. Assuming you're running the correct weight, you likely have another issue making your bike hard to start and the use of a certain oil is coincindental.

Sounds normal to me. Stand the bike up on a level surface, kill the motor, and give it a minute...you'll see the oil come back into view in the sight glass...I have the same bike. I'm running Elf Moto4 XP Tech.
