I got t boned by an old lady going the wrong way in a parking lot.. Bike looks totaled I just got bumps, bruises, sprains and cuts. She hit my bike hard enough to send it sideways about 20-25 ft I went over the handlebars and landed on my back/ass. I saw her at the last second and lifted my foot before I was hit, looking at my rear set it was a good thing because it was smashed.

yeah hopefully she had good insurance and you can get at least an adequate replacement, because I have heard some companies are not so good when it comes to paying out the cash............

she had state farm insurance and I have several policies from them so I hope that they will be fair and handle this in a timely manner. I almost cried today when I heard a pack of bikes go by. I miss my baby..

As long as you don't want the bike back then state farm will give you a good settlement for your bike and gear!
Make sure you submit catalog pages for your gear replacement also.. They didn't even bother to ask to see my old gear they just took my word that it was ruined and what type and brand I had (but I was honest cause I thought they would want to inspect the old gear) they also paid me back for the towing cost (which for me was renting a u haul, gas for the u hual and some tie downs and ramps which I now get to keep) cause me towing it my self was still cheaper then them paying a tow truck to tow it 60+ miles round trip to the dealership and back back to my house..
