Howdy, I’m looking for a bit of help from you folks in Florida. Next month I’ll be in Florida (Clearwater) for 2 weeks and I plan to do a bit of shopping, I want to buy a new Helmet (AGV Ti-Tech EVO White) and a new Alpinestars Leather jacket, the reason being is that you guys are paying half the price we do over here in the UK for… well just about anything lol So could anyone help me and tell me if there are any shops I should be visiting? Other things I want to do in Florida and any advice would be much appreciated 1. Go to a shooting range and bust a cap or two 2. Hire a bike, not a Harley if it can be helped but I also don’t want a Race Replica 3. Slap some ass Thanks

Try skypowersports, I believe they are somewhat close to Clearwater. If not there is probably a Cyclegear around there. They seem to be popping up everywhere. I doubt you will be able to rent a sportbike over here, maybe a Buell. There is a company that rents sportbikes, but I believe they are based out of California. Hope this helps.

Westcoast Powersports in Clearwater. Cycle Gear in St Petersburg. Knight Shooting Sports in clearwater No sportbike rentals - Sorry. ... I got lucky once at Oz over in Largo... Honestly the $150 was for the dance and nothing more... I thought it was all just part of the show.

Barney's suck....I wouldn't buy anything from there. I personally think most shops here in the Clearwater, St. Pete, Tampa area are expensive. But hey, to each his own.

get an address that you'll be staying here at and buy your gear on line. It will be much cheaper and you won't pay taxes cause it's a stateside address. Most internet sites can have your items in your hands within a 2 week period. Try these sites: competition accessories.com (helmet, jacket) motorcycle superstore.com (helmet, jacket) I shoot at a range on Hwy 301 in Brandon, but there is shooting sport North Dale Mabry in Tampa As far as Beating some kneels, you're on your own!

Thanks once again guys for your help. Just back home today in Scotland, i had a great time out in Florida. I didn't manage to hire a bike but i did find a Cyclegear in Orlando and got myself an Alpinestar RC1 jacket at around half what i would have paid back home, I couldn't buy a helmet as you guys have different safety standard markings on your lids and i wouldn't get on track here with it. I also went to Knight Shooting Sports and used up a box of ammo in a Glock .40 it was my first time firing a gun and i thought i did not too bad at it. I was able to pick a spot on the target and hit it from 25 feet on my last round. The safety guy was telling me some interesting facts about gun crimes and stuff saying that most gun incidents happen at an avg distance of 7 feet which seemed really close when i moved the target back that far. Also some other dudes were firing off some crazy guns, one guy had what looked like an elephant gun LOL it made my lungs vibrate everytime he fired it and then 2 guys arrived with huge cases and thats when i left :P ps. some nice bikes aswell
