05 GSX-R 600 times

Anyone run their new 600? I'm interested to see what they are running without professional riders on board. I'll be happy just to get mine below 10.999 :thumbup:

i'm on a '04 (same thing).....i'm gonna see what the regulations/rules are for hittin the track during street legals and might give it a try sometime in the next month or so....all i have is a yoshi bolt-on and -1 in front

i seen a couple bike out at palmdale lacr when i use to go out to the track, but not sure what the regulation was...hmmm maybe i could look on there website and find out

Most tracks require full face helmit, leather jacket, leather gloves, and leather boots over the ankles. If you exceed 120 mph in the 1/4 mile then you will need leather pants. I recommend the pants anyway.

I recommend the pants anyway. The regulations here are similar, but you do not need full leathers (pants) until you break into the 9's.

i just ran my 05 600 yesterday. temp was 85ºF. my first run ever was a 11.9x at 120.x. a few runs later i ran my best at 11.442 @123.95 at las vegas motor speedway. bike is all stock except for a scorpion bolt on only. my 60' for that run was 2.0xx. my best 60' was 1.9xx, i had quite a bit of trouble hooking it up at the launch.

my girlfriends brother got an 11.18, or 11.15 with a non lowered,not strapped, non power commandered bike. all he has is a Yosh r3 bolt on, and went down one on front sproket. he weighs around 170-180.

Thats awesome man, I have an 05 600 with a scorpion bolt on pipe as well. I'll post my times when I run it.

hmm, who were you racing? was it a zo6??

i was racing my friends 370 whp evo (race gas). he just got it back from after an accident and its not running right at the moment.

Hey lama.. what kind of difference have you noticed with the TRE? j/w.

you can tell the throttle response is smoother. especially in 1 and 2 gear. also less engine braking.

Cool.. i'll chalk that one up on my list of add-ons to get.
