Seat: Stock Wheels: Stock Accesories/other mods: ALL Decals Removed, 8000K H.I.D. Low Beam Conversion w/ blue/white aftermarket high beam, Wheel Tape, Black Levers, Color-matched after market rear hugger, Tank Pad, Frame Sliders , Rear Spools, Frame Plugs, Tinted Double Bubble Windscreen, Fender Eliminator, clear signal bulbs (but blink orange/legal),k&n air filter The Story: I have always loved being on two wheels since bicycles as a kid. I rode dirt bikes quite a few times as a kid and some buddies street bikes as I got older. I always wanted one but parents agaisnt it. Then unfortunately when I was about 18 (25 now), I lowsided my best friends 1997 GSXR 750. Was wearing t shirt and jeans and had some pretty serious road rash but luckily that was it. I of course paid for all repairs and he sold his bike, and to try and make admitting this to parents easier, I swore off my want of getting one for good. So here I am 24(last year) and far from parents reach and one of my good friends buys a 2007 GSXR 750 then shortly after sold that to a friend of ours and got an 08 Busa. So now my two friends ride all the time, and my itch is back. They want me to get a bike, I want to get a bike, the wife wants to get a bike, so what do I do? Throw dust to the wind and go by a brand new 2007 GSXR 600 (in 2008 though). This was just back in May. And guess what happens while im at dealership and have just bought my bike?? A 77 year old lady barrels out in front of my good friend on his Busa and nearly kills him. He had to be air lifted and broke both ankles, his left leg (lower, tibia i think), both hands, reptured his spline which had to be removed, and the obvious road rash . He was wearing leather jacket, helmet, gloves, racing boots, and jeans. He is still recovering but ok. No brain, back,or neck injuries. I found out about this while im still at dealership and now I am seriously second guessing my minutes ago purchase. But I don't back out, I ride it home and am instantly in love and decide to keep on with my long wanted love. I immediately start doing the little after market stuff I've done cause thats just how I am. I think the exhaust was on with 4 days and all stickers gone the first day. And Im on the thing like every day. It had 3miles when i got it and a little over two months later she has 2500. And as strange as it sounds, im glad i crashed my friends when i was 18 becasue it gives me the respect for the machine riders need. i dont push my limits, i slowly nudge them to improve my rideing. also due to having 3 or 4 veterans in my group, i do pretty well being my first bike. Two weeks after I got it another good friend of ours had also been planning on buying a bike and also decided to purchase one despite our friends horrible accident. Roughly two to three weeks after he got his bike, on July 16th, 2008, Kevin P. Mahurin, 22 yrs old, had a Ford Expedition pull out into his lane from a side road and kill him intantly. It was a horrible incident and we keep his family in our prayers. Of course this again made me question whether or not I should keep my bike. It was not easy, and sometimes I feel like im playing with fire, but I decided to keep my bike for I have truly fallin in love with riding my bike, fast, slow, straight, curves, I just love being on that motorcycle and I dont plan to stop anytime soon. I keep my friends incidents in my mind at all times and expect every car I see to pull out in front of me and always wear FULL gear. I know it was a long story and I apologize, but it really is the story of my bike and thats what I was suppose to write. Hope you like my bike, and also when you read this, pause for a moment for all the lost riders out there. Peace One Love -ohseven600

Year: 2007 Model: GSX-R Eng size: 599cc Pipe: '02 R1 D&D exhaust Seat: Stock Wheels: Stock Accessories/other mods: Red Stripes on rims (Done myself), Shogun No-Cut frame sliders, shogun bar-ends, shogun spools, custom made license plate braket, and Motrax grip on gas tank. And the story: After riding my friends bike one night, i decided to get my own. A year later after a bunch boring classes at school and long 16 hr work days + one year, i got my gsx-r600. It is my first bike which i purchased in May 2007. I picked the color because it wasn't the same old team blue or the all black. It is red and white, which catches a lot of eyes. I decided to look up a few things on ebay just to see what i could find for my moto. This lead me to the red striping on the rims. I saw it and decided to purchase some and see how the bike would look. Boy, did i fall in love. lol. Slowely i just started adding more looks to my bike than performance. I purchased some No-Cut frame sliders, oh, and just to mention, the day i picked them up, i was gonna put them on, but i got called in to work because i needed the money. After work, i ate it... not hard.. at about 15mph. but it sure scratched up my baby. Next day i threw those on. If you look closely at the 4th pic, you can see the scratch on the left fairing. anyway, my bike now has a tattoo and i don't really mind it. Couple months later, saw a buddy of mine who had a D&D exhaust on his '02 r1. I really loved how it sounded and i wanted one. Problem was, the look and sound of the D&D FSS exhaust for my bike was not eye catching nor the way i wanted it to sound. So, i purchased an '02 R1 D&D exhaust to take place of the stock exhaust. Best thing was, all i need was a few adapters for less than $10, an hour and it was on!!! Never will you (atleast i think so) see this exhaust on any 2006-2007 GSX-R600. As for the future, I'm planning on dropping in a PCIII, try to modify a Jardine MotoGP '07 Gixxer 1K pipe to it, take the side reflectors off, purchase a hotbodies smoked windscreen and whatever else i can find. lol. we will see. Make sure you vote for the one you like best! http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b190/erkxtreme55/halloween029.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b190/erkxtreme55/halloween031.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b190/erkxtreme55/bike-1.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b190/erkxtreme55/untitled-5.jpg

Started on dirt, got on the street. My bike before this was an '03 R6. Hung up the helmet after seeing myself getting a bit careless and saw too many people go down in my circle of riders. Got back on in '07 with a more mature state of mind. Went in for a blue/white 750, left with the black 600 which helps keeping me away from stunting. Rather than power wheelies, endos, and stand ups on the highway in the wee hours of the night I've focused my riding more in the twisties realm. Always a fan of twisties and perfecting the lines but when the sun went down, I turned into a werewolf in the '99-'04 years. I still like bringing it up for the girls but most of my one wheeled adventures now come off crests on my favorite twisties routes. No trackdays this year due to a busy work schedule. Hopefully I'll squeeze at least one in towards the end of the season. At the very least, this bike will get converted into a track bike during the winter. I have my eye on the 848 for '09. At 25, I think it's time for something Italian  I have some more things planned for the bike. The stock B-stones hold very well when the suspension is set up. Dunno what all the talk is on the boards but worked out well for me. 50 mile take offs for the cost of shipping  No rush for tires...by the time I wear these down, I'll be getting some PP Race wrapped around red or gold magnesium Marchesini's. Plastics, Brembos, and a rear Ohlins unit will finish the bike off for good. Most of the pictures are from when the bike had under 200 miles. Had a Taylormade on it at 50 miles, off at 120 miles, and on went a real system :laughingr The driveway shot is the last pic I took and doesn't show the brake lines. Ride safe everyone, and thanks for reading my blurb. I appreciate all bikes because of the love their owners have for them. Keep turning those hand tools, and remember...rubber side down :) http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/ckaynyc/Murderedout.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/ckaynyc/rear-1.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/ckaynyc/rearquarter.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/ckaynyc/gixxtail.jpg

Year: 2008 Model: GSX-R1000 Engine Size: 1000cc Pipe: Taylormade Seat: Stock Wheels: Stock Accessories/Other Mods: So far: MRA Screen, Taylormade Exhaust, Power Commander PCIII, Tail Tidy. Find attached pictures of my new K8 GSX-R1000 only 1 month old. I love the looks of the exhaust and the tone from it is sooo addictive, many thanks to Taylormade for designing a top notch product for the daddy gixxer. As its relatively new not to many mods as yet, future plans include bronze Marchenisi wheels, bronze gilles rear-sets/Pazzo levers, brembo bronze calipers with Galfer discs and gold chain, basically it should have a nice subtle contrast with bronze and the black on black, like the forks. As it is now I personally think it looks goods and worth a shot at the BoM. Wish I was good at photography.:headscrat ckay, you camera Demon you
