both occured on a Ninja 600.. first was racing up Mt. Palomar in Ca. hit loose gravel and slid out on those lovely damn centerline bubble dodads.. I hate those.. 10 stitches in elbow. Second.. crashed on freway at 120. wearing helmet and bomber jacket and 2 pair of jeans. tire got stuck in groove between highway and offramp. ( state owns highway, town owns offramp) and that 1 1/2 inch gap neutral territory. upon impact helmet flew off, i skidded across 8 lanes of highway from off ramp to median wall back to off ramp. happend at 2 am in the morning coming home thanksgiving eve. At impact pieces of bike broke off, I stopped quarter mile from initial impact. bike continued another 1/4 mile distance up ahead. Some guys in a porche stopped and called 911. got a ticket for revoked ca liscense ( the did not notify me about being suspended. mailed notification to michigan instead of Missouri.) Anyway I had super minor roadrash, bald spot on back of head. and body swelled up like a balloon for few days. I did manage to drive motorcycle back home, what was left of it. right exhaust was glowing red hot, oil burning like crazy.. bike was totalled. They included previous accident from Ca. in damage. ( tail was broken/loose) 3rd wreck. happend on way to work, took a turn a little faster than i should have, hit softball size rock in middle of my lane on apex of turn. Bike flip flopped. took handlebar in pelvis area.. no damage. busted both left and right mirrors, windshield, left and right levers tips. Bike was a 93 Katana with a 88 gsxr750 engine in it. after what seemed like an eternity with the wind knocked outta me i managed to drive it to work and finished my day.. I've also managed to Hydroplane once on the ninja600 on the freeway.. nothing happend as i was going perfectly straight but it was the most messed up feeling i've ever felt. To this day I dislike riding in the rain because of that.. Maybe they were careless mistakes.. the first one on the mountain yes. stuck in the groove and hitting the rock maybe and maybe not. I know i wouldnt have crashed if those objects were not present.. Raven in NewHampshire.. had a 93 gsxr750, currently a 95 1100.. Sure

Thanks, yea theres just that feeling of being on a bike reguardless of speed that keeps you getting back on it.. the first 2 happend within a month or 2, 3 tops.. 1989-90 ish i dont even remember when it hydroplaned.. kinda blocked that out.. last one was about 3 years ago, the big nasty rock in the road.. Its kinda funny, when I purchased the spankin new white ninja 600 the rumor was a life expectancy of 9 months on the thing.. the 120 highway spill was 8 months.. I was young 18/19ish did stupid things on it when i was in Cali lol. standing on seat, wheelies etc... now with the 150 horsies of the 1100 i dont do that crap.. okay the occasional wheelies but only on roads i know, can see etc.. the 600 was well a blast.. i got too silly with it cause it was so easy to handle/max out etc..this beast has that extra play in it that says are you sure you wanna do that?? lol.. keeps ya on your toes.. and alert. Raven 95 gsxr1100 Hindle full exhaust, v&h powerpack/advancer Individual K&N's jet kit. Wrapped headers and a cool biycle digitalspeedo attachment. max speed/ trip/average speed
