Year:2006 Model: GSX-R Eng size: 600cc Pipe: Yoshimura Seat: stock Wheels: stock Accessories/other mods: Barely Legal Fender Eliminator kit (https://www.barelylegalaccessories.com/index.php), -1 on the front, Clear Alternatives Smoked Lenses/ LED boards front and rear, Speedohealer, DB windscreen, Reflective wheel striping, Powder coated rear sets and passenger pegs, PP tires front and rear. Coming very soon; HID 6000k, gel seat and maybe a PCIII And the story: Actually not a long story... I have always wanted a GSXR since high school and between college and other hobbies couldn't ever get it done, until this year. I purchased her in May 08', with only 1190 miles from a lady in her 40's with back problems. Why she even had it I will never know. Got my endorsement and have been learning/ loving it ever since. I'm up to 4450 miles and still have a couple months of season left:thumbup: I have slowly been customizing it, nothing drastic, just subtle changes to take the stock look off. I have to go slow or else the wife has a hard time believing I bought it to save gas;) Love this forum and even though it has only been a few months it feels like home. Thank everyone for the advise.. So in short, I love her to death and hopefully will be able to keep the rubber down for sometime to come. http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-08/2757IMG_1212.jpg (http://www.imagecross.com/) http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-08/5505IMG_1214_2.jpg (http://www.imagecross.com/) http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-08/5618IMG_1223.jpg (http://www.imagecross.com/) http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-08/4840IMG_1213.jpg (http://www.imagecross.com/) http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-08/1537IMG_1217_2.jpg (http://www.imagecross.com/) http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-08/7277IMG_1227.jpg (http://www.imagecross.com/) http://hosting06.imagecross.com/image-hosting-08/9654IMG_1190.jpg (http://www.imagecross.com/)

Year:2003 Model: GSX-R Eng size: 1000cc Pipe: Yoshimura Seat: stock Wheels: stock Accessories/other mods: Power Commander dyno tuned, full yoshimura exhaust, bmc race filter, adjustable links down 2", lowered 3/4" in the front, aftermarket sprockets, flush mounts, 200mm rear tire, custom swingarm 6" over, Honda Element Burnt Orange paint job, Scotts steering dampener, mirrors, adj. kick stand, swingarm plate mount, grips, LED tail, undertail, smoked windshield, stainless brake lines, shorty levers, fender eliminator, sliders. I will be honest, I did only a small amount of the work to this bike. I started riding about 4 years ago on a brand new shadow, moved up to a kawi 600r and decided the whole backroad twisties deal isn't really my cup of tea. I really just enjoy riding and having the power, not that I use it a whole lot, but I do enjoy the rush of pulling that throttle back and even in 6th gear just blowin by traffic. I've also always been a big drag racer with cars through the years and am starting to get into that more on my bike now. This bike belonged to my buddy since it was brand new and I always LOVED everything done to it and one day I sat on it drunk as hell at a party and said how much I would love having a bike like it, and he said 7 grand and its yours. The story ends with me buying it about 5 days later  http://a817.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/24/l_33a7357bba4078f2939236a56d5163f8.jpg http://a640.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/55/l_fbfd5c5c2c8d7fd240468a310235d60f.jpg http://a686.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/33/l_dc133b1408dc6e4dcc49a9d475582cad.jpg http://a487.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/25/l_eac7c986a6e17e65ff3b06eb9b79c44e.jpg

I rode friends gsxr's and was hooked. In 2006 I paid 1000 for a 96 gsxr 750 got it running, wasn't able to find wheels , so I sold it. Around March or April 2008 I bought my love (2007 gsxr 750). It's pretty much stock except the minor mods listed above. Thanks for your honest vote whoever it may be.

Do not use this thread for discussing which bike you like/ dislike, as there will be a voting thread following this one. Yup, I was there when I said it. No commentary in this thread. Period. Especially no negativity. Preceding negative comments have been deleted. Next person who attacks someone else's bike in one of these BOTM threads will get a little vacation from the site. Is it really that hard to read instructions?? Keep it to yourself.

The story: THe story goes as told. Was looking for a bike for about two months total. My wife seemed as if she didnt care one bit. Well I found this bike, got the money and went to purchase out of town. My wife calls me half way there and tells me not to buy it! I pretty much just went against her will. I had to! Bike was pretty much on the ground when I bought it. I am 205 lbs so thats why i raised it back up, plus I wanted the bike to handle a little better. Without bouncing all over the place. All in all I have a nice bike that cause me some wife problems for a couple days. But it was worth it! YEAR: 2006 MODEL: GSX-R ENG SIZE: 750 PIPE: STOCK SEAT: STOCK WHEELS: STOCK WITH REFLECTIVE YELLOW STRIPING. ACCESSORIES: CORBIN "SMUGGLER" TRUNK, SCORPIO ALARM, SENSORO RADAR DETECTOR, PUIG TINTED RACING WINDSCREEN, SHOGUN NO-CUT FRAME SLIDERS, CARBON FIBER MIRRORS, CARBON FIBER GAS CAP, SME GOLD REAR AXIL BLOCKS AND SLIDERS, SME GOLD FRONT AXIL SLIDERS, SUZUKI CUSTOM GRIPS, CUSTOM GOLD BAR ENDS, VORTEX GOLD REARSETS, CUSTOM GOLD CLUTCH / BRAKE LEVERS, BARELY LEGAL FENDER ELIMATOR, AND CUSTOM GOLD OIL CAP. The Corbin "Smuggler" trunk gives my bike a very distictive look unlike any other bike I have seen before. The bike attracts a lot of attention, and I'm always getting positive comments on how my bike looks. I bought the trunk because I got tired of putting grocery items under my motorcycle jacket on my way home. My wife loves ice cream and often calls me when I'm riding to bring some home. Anybody that has tried this knows how bad nipple freeze can be! I had not owned a motorcycle for several years, but kept up my interest in them. I stopped by the Suzuki dealer one day and fell madly in love with the 2006 yellow/black GSX-R750. Well, the rest is history. I customized my Gixxer to the way I felt it should look. I know that not everyone will agree with the changes I've made and thats okay. I'm the one that gets a big smile on everytime I strattle my gixxer named Stinger!
